What was supposed to be a reservation for a family of 12, visiting for the holidays, turned into a, oh let us squeeze 12 of you into space for 9 people, AFTER a 40 minute wait…WITH a RESERVATION…HOW???
BUT IT GETS BETTER….
Once seated, all 12 of us on one side of a double grill, we waited another 20 minutes for drink orders. When the waiter came over he realized we had no menus or waters and we were crammed in. He got us drinks, menus and then things started moving.Thank you Diego. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we paid the bill and left….NO free round of drinks, NO apology from a manager, NO comped dessert, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE for a family that spent $1000 plus. As new residents to Lake Havasu, they have lost business for future visits.
Food was great but didn’t taste so good after the bad experience. Diners beware….

I went here with my husband for a date night and it was great! We both ordered their pork ramen which was a decent portion and very tasty (although my better half found it too plain – but the server happily provided him with some house spicy sauce that he said totally improved the flavour for him). We also tried some of their sushi which I’m not usually partial to but even I found delicious. I think my only gripe would be that we heard the restaurant’s personal rendition of “Happy Birthday!” about five times in a 1-hour interval and it got grating very fast, haha! Otherwise the restaurant had very interesting and incredible decor, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely eat here again!

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive and top notch, the ambiance was fun and lively. A bit loud but that’s to be expected with the grill and the fire and the over head fans and vents on the grills. Not unpleasant by any means to us but if you have problems with noise, keep it in mind.
We both had Teppanyaki dinner, Filet Mignon with Scallops and fried rice. We also got the Havasu roll sushi. We didn’t have any drinks because we had champagne waiting at home but the drinks selection looked divine.
Dom was our waiter, he was attentive and sweet. He took our picture for us since it was our 20th anniversary.
Sadly I didn’t get our chef’s name but he did a fantastic job cooking our meals and a fun show. Juggling eggs for the fried rice and an onion volcano. So delicious and so fun.
My pics aren’t the best because I was trying to just enjoy the experience.

This was “THE” worst experience of my life! It was my big “60th” birthday party’s. We had the back room booked for 28 people. They didnt have enough cooks, the grills didnt all work. They separated my party who had waited 2 1/2 hours for food. I ate cold rice, cause it took forever to get the rest of our meal. We weren’t compensated in any way. We couldn’t even do the birthday cake, cause people were separated, and people were still waiting for food. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

The restaurant has a wonderful vibe to it, and there’s a lot of detail. There’s a lot to look at, even down to the tabletops, which have city scenes in them. I haven’t seen anything like it and was appreciating the effort.
The food was good, and there’s nothing wrong with a decent meal. If judging off the service and atmosphere, it would be higher rated. Just missing an element to punch it up a bit, but still an awesome place to have a good bite.

Our new favorite restaurant for Sushi. We moved to Mohave County in 2013 and when it came to Sushi, we had only found “pretty good”, until today. Someone told my wife about Shogun in Lake Havasu. From start to finish, everything was amazing, and dare I say, the best we have ever had. Our server, Diego was awesome. It’s over an hour drive from home but well worth it. We will definitely make the trip and can’t wait to go back.

The food was absolutely amazing as expected! We got the flaming young and the meat was his tenders can be! They did all the classic hibachi grill moves, including the volcano.. The rice and chicken were also a very nice pairing. He is also very smooth!

We just had the best dinner for under $40! Highly recommend Sho-Guns Japanese cuisine. We have also enjoyed the hibachi tables although pricier the service and food is excellent. So nice to know you can have a very satisfying meal at a reasonable price and this included a glass of wine and a beer.
