I absolutely enjoy the food here! The fried pork chops are to die for! Because of how loving Ms. Shirley is, it’s so easy to feel like you’re family! Christy is a doll! Just wonderful Christian people!

Just had lunch with my brother. Visiting from Montana and he wanted some good southern food. Shirley hit a home run! Fried chicken wings. My favorite . Field peas. Seasoned perfectly. Macaroni and cheese. Cheesy and creamy Slaw was perfect . Of course sweet tea. Went away stuffed and ready for a nap .

I sent my husband to go scope the place out. We had just left Great Wolf Lodge and was on our way to Alabama. He said it looked good. The fried chicken was excellent. The peach cobbler was every bakers dream. The greens were delicious without meat. Now the rest of the buffet, minus the delicious rolls, I couldn’t eat. I think they just cook different than Louisiana does. I never ate pig ears, but people were coming in just for that. The staff was pleasant.

Food was really good, even though the hours could be extended in the evening cause after 5pm your stuck with Hunt Brothers Pizza at the Exxon. The fried chicken was very juicy and flavorful with a really good breading. The Mac and cheese was homemade, not boxed, and had a really good cheese sauce. The collard greens had a fantastic flavor. Kristine and the older gentleman were very friendly. I will be back for sure.

Delicious! Yes, it’s a tired old truck stop but the rest room wasn’t as bad as other reviews said.
The food and service were well worth the stop! Buffet style: I had really tasty baked fish, chopped pork, mac n cheese, turnip greens, rice, lima beans, and black-eyed peas, fresh cornbread, and sweet tea..And a pretty darn good banana pudding.
All-u-can-eat $10. There were a couple other desserts and a couple other meats and vegetables I didn’t try; but they all looked good too.

Best biscuits and banana pudding my kids said they ever had. Shirley was there sitting down and eating herself. She as well as the other ladies were polite and such a pleasure. The building is super retro but clean. Hole in the wall as it’s behind a truck stop . I had pork steak. squash. macaroni and cheese and potato salad. My mother said her tilapia was really good.

In less than 10 minutes, i got a quick takeout of this buffet style restaurant and i have to say, this is remarkable and outstanding! The cornbread here is better than Cracker Barrel.
When it comes to the Potato Salad which is an insane and mindblowing eating experience. It tasted better than expected and the texture is like how a potato salad is supposed to be.
The Mashed Potato is REAL, that right partner! ITS REAL MASHED POTATOES and its taste Goooooooooood! Most restaurants have that fake powder made mashed potato like play-dough. I play with my mashed potatoes to see if its real and this is so real that i could not play it. Amazing Job!
The Glazed Baked Chicken is unbelievable and honestly, i would like to eat more but the food is so delicious i got full before i can finish.
The food is cheap, fast, convienant and you can start eating in less than 10 minutes, probably even less.
As a travel blogger, i have to recommend this restaurant to all my fans and anyone whos heading towards Atlanta. I dont usually rate 10 out of 10 unless that food is so good that i wish to continue eating, in wish this case. You guys deserve 10 out of 10!

So hard to find a non-chain restaurant on the interstate. Okay so we didn’t actually eat here because they weren’t open but it looks great and the bathrooms at the truck stop were very clean.
