Shirazi Karahi in Glen Oaks is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. For appetizers we ordered Lahori fish Pakora and requested not to put too much salt but they didn’t, fish pakora was super salty . The chicken Tikka & Kufta sizzling kabobs was super tasty. Kabobs comes with rice was ok..I like their butter naan and fries. Overall all foods are flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The naan came out fresh and hot. Great portions and very fair prices. We’ll definitely be back.

Shirazi Karachi Restaurant, Queens New York was amazing! Lucky brother there was very helpful and served food exactly to my taste — fully halal and very affordable. Must try once!

I ordered two aloo parathas and two chais. I was given a time quota of 10 mins but it took closer to 40 minutes. The food was not bad at all. But TIME and EFFICIENCY need to be HEAVILY IMPROVED . When you ask for take out. It’s a matter of time. And this isn’t the first time either, last time the guy wouldn’t tell me the price (even though I asked) until it was time to pay and it was much more than I expected. It’s not about the money but rather transparency, time and efficiency.

Shirazi Karahi is a Pakistani halal food restaurant with multiple locations in Queens, New York. The restaurant specializes in authentic karahi, kebabs, BBQ, biryani, tikka, malai boti, seekh kabab, naan, and other traditional Pakistani dishes prepared with rich spices and flavors.

In addition to savory meals, Shirazi Karahi also serves a variety of Pakistani sweets and kulfi (traditional ice cream) to complete the dining experience.

The food is 100% halal, always fresh, and full of authentic taste — bringing the true flavors of Pakistan to Queens. The environment is neat and clean, while the staff is friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that feels just like home.

We gave this restaurant a try and the service is great!!! We loved the vibe of the restaurant and also it was clean. We ordered garlic naans, butter naans, samosa chat, lime drink ,chicken karahi & chicken Bihari kababs.
The naans were good the chat was ok Bihari Kababs were to die for!!! but unfortunately we did not like the chicken Karahi at all, but the chicken Bihari kabab was the star of the show!!! a must try!!!!

I recently tried Afghani food and overall, it was a decent experience. The flavors were unique, with a nice mix of spices, but not too overwhelming. The rice dishes were well-cooked and aromatic, and the kebabs had a good smoky taste, though they could have been a bit juicier. The portions were fair for the price, and the bread was fresh and soft, which I really enjoyed.

Service and presentation were average—not bad, but nothing too special either. If you’re looking to try something different from the usual cuisine, Afghani food is worth a try. It may not have completely wowed me, but it was satisfying enough and gave me a taste of traditional flavors.

The food was okay, nothing too special. The flavors were traditional, but some dishes lacked the strong spices and aroma you expect from Pakistani cuisine. The service was fine, though it could have been faster. The place was clean but felt a bit basic in terms of ambiance. Prices were fair for the portions. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re nearby, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

I went for the buffet and the food was good overall. It would be even better if goat paye (trotters) were added instead of beef paye (trotters). The sweets and desserts were nice. However, the 18% service charge feels quite high. If the service charges were reduced, the overall experience would be much better

I had a very poorly managed Iftaar experience with misleading menu claims and low-quality food. The food tasted reheated and lacked freshness.
Flavors were bland and the dishes did not seem freshly prepared.Advertised items were missing
I would not recommend Shirazi Karahi to anyone
