What a special and delicious experience at Cafe de Flores last night!
Beef short ribs were melt in your mouth, the mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery, asparagus was perfectly tender-crisp! My husband had the mushroom and truffle pasta…the pasta was freshly made and cooked to perfection. The creme brulee had just the right sugar crust and had a depth of flavour that had me savouring every bite lol!
The staff was attentive, professional and fun. Thank you for a great evening!
Will absolutely return.

After taking Miriam’s Mexican Cooking class, my husband and I decided to have dinner at her French Cafe. She has a restaurant in Cinco de Deciembre, and had just opened a pop up restaurant at the Hotel Quinta Maria Cortez Hotel in Conchas Chinas. It was a bit tricky to find, but what a gem it was!! We sat on a beautiful patio and had the pleasure of spending time with Miriam and her team and experiencing her French Cooking. We ordered the fixed menu and enjoyed a ceasar salad, tomato tart, organic chicken with savory gravy over mashed potatoes, and a hand-made pasta with wild mushrooms and truffle sauce. For dessert, we had a flourless dark chocolate cake with white chocolate cream. The service was excellent. Diana and the bartender/server were so attentive and friendly. It was such a special night….the beautiful location, the delicious food, the personal attention from Miriam and her team. We look forward to going back to Cafe Flores, and highly recommend it to others for a wonderful dinner experience.

What a truly wonderful and amazing dining experience I had with my friends and family at Cafe de Flores. Who knew that a French Bistro in Puerto Vallarta could taste this good?? Chef Miriam, treated us like family and vip guests in her own home. She was lovely and engaging made sure we had everything we could have ever wanted! I personally recommend the delicious hand crafted cocktails – made with organic ingredients, hand made pasta and the indulgent desserts. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone craving a comfortable, attentive and elevated dining experience in Puerto Vallarta. Make reservations ahead, this is a small intimate restaurant. I cannot wait to return to Chef Miriam’s Bistro and hopefully enroll in one of her cooking classes. Don’t miss the opportunity to dine at Cafe Flores while visiting Vallarta.

We did the 5 course tasting and it was outstanding! Nice choices , soup, salad or tart, shrimp or scallops then pasta choice finished with lovely red snapper before dessert choice. Included 2 glasses of wine each! Great food, service at a great value. We hace already made another reservation! Yuri is an excellent attentive and knowledgeable server. Miriam, owner who also runs a cooking school was so helpful and made us feel like guests in her home. Make a reservation and get here quick! Patti & Thomas

I’d change the name to Chez Miriam in honor of the owner – a Paris trained Cordon Bleu Chef. Ezequiel did a marvelous job executing the recipes. We had french onion soup, fish, short rib and pretty much every dessert — ALL DELECTABLE ! Emmanuel goes out of his way to make you feel at home in this unassuming but quaint space. Highly recommend!

A warm and intimate dining experience. Easily the best food on a week-long trip that included some upscale places. The head Chef is dedicated to making sure the menu is fresh and the time is taken to create beautiful and delicious dishes. Only downside is it doesn’t sound like they plan a Denver location anytime soon. Thank you for a magical experience, your work and passion shine through in every way!

We dined at Café de Flore in Puerto Vallarta last week, and it was outstanding from start to finish—one of those meals you immediately want to tell people about.
The tomato tart was a true highlight: beautifully balanced, intensely flavorful, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. It set the tone for the rest of the meal and is reason alone to visit.
Their wine-by-the-glass selection deserves special mention. Thoughtful, well-curated, and refreshingly flexible, it made pairing effortless and elevated the entire experience without feeling pretentious.
The fresh pasta was excellent—perfectly cooked, rich without being heavy, and clearly house-made. Each bite reflected care, technique, and confidence in the kitchen.
Finally, the service was warm, polished, and genuinely attentive. The staff struck that ideal balance of being convivial without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious.
Overall, Café de Flore delivers a refined yet relaxed dining experience with standout food, smart wine options, and impeccable service. A memorable meal and an easy recommendation for anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Our cab driver had never heard of this place & dropped us off 10 blocks away. It was worth the walk to find it!! We got the 3 Course Meal and every part was a delicious delight!! Our service was wonderful as well & we hope to go back to try the other offerings we didn’t get to have this visit!!
Extra treat…Chef Miriam, the owner, offers cooking classes, which we did tonight & highly recommend!! Ask them about her cooking classes after you eat & get ready for a spectacular experience!!

This tiny restaurant is a gem. Owned by noted food educator of the same name, the dishes are prepared with the best ingredients and are both visual and tasting delights. Dianna was an excellent server providing attentive service and a winning smile. We enjoyed the Caesar salad, my sea bass was perfectly cooked, others had the fresh pasta and raved over it. Be sure to call for a reservation, there are only 3 tables and a counter. Air conditioned and stylishly appointed , it was a great meal.

No notes. One of my new top-five dinner spots in PV. I can’t believe it took us so long to find out about it.
We had the three-course menu (and ordered identically). The portions were adequate and everything was delicious.
