Excellent food and service, packed on NYE but the atmosphere still felt positive and not too loud. All in all a great place to go especially if you like seafood.

Went for my birthday dinner and was very pleased. We had a reservation so didn’t wait. We had the crab cake for an appetizer and it was great ! I had the petite surf and turf and my boyfriend had the bolognese. We were both highly satisfied ! Those fries were the best I couldn’t stop eating .
For desert he had the pistachio three ways and I had the affogato . Both were equally amazing . This was the first restaurant in a while I left and was already planning my next return

Service was great ! My water glass was never empty ! The bread they give you is amazing ! There is nothing I can think of that was a complaint ! We will be back !!!

First time eating here. For the price, which is very high, the food is not worth it. But the restaurant is really nice inside and our server was great.

What a wonderful experience! Red snapper special was exceptional. Hubby’s scallops were very, very good. We hope to be back real soon.

I have heard lots about the Shipwreck Grill for some time but never got around to making a reservation. I have to say the food is amazing. The restaurant interior isn’t anything special but it’s a great spot for a yummy meal

The Food is excellent the tuna tartar is some of the best I have ever had. Wonderful signature drinks. The servers were very knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately the praise stops there.
For such a strong menu and clear talent in the kitchen . The restaurant has implemented a policy where you must order entrees and appetizers at the same time. It takes a top notch experience and transforms it in to a short order diner rush. In my opinion it derails the flow of the meal and seems to devalues the customers that are looking for a special gastronomic night out.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! I love the warm, inviting ambiance, the variety of menu options, and the excellent wine selection.

We started with the roasted octopus — perfectly tender yet with a light crispness — truly a balance that’s hard to achieve. For my main course, I chose the seared day boat sea scallops with shrimp and squid, and let me tell you… they were out of this world! The seafood was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth — and believe me, I’m picky when it comes to seafood (I’m from Italy!). You have to try the Miano, a white wine from Sicily, which paired beautifully with my scallops.

My kids enjoyed the half semi–deboned chicken with French fries, served alongside a perfectly cooked carrot — they devoured every bite!

Desserts here are just as special and creative. I was thrilled to see affogato on the menu — something I rarely come across in the USA. It was delicious: a shot of rich espresso poured over vanilla ice cream with chocolate crunch beans inside. My kids went for the profiteroles with ice cream, and my husband had the “Pistachio Three Ways,” which was phenomenal.

For such a large restaurant, the quality of the food is outstanding. My compliments to the chef! Our server was gracious and attentive, and Mary, the restaurant manager, stopped by several times to check on us — she was incredibly friendly with our toddlers and made us feel so welcome.

Shipwreck is truly a must-visit for anyone in the area. We can’t wait to come back!

I’ve only really come here for birthdays but this place is very memorable. Looking at the menu now I don’t believe that what I ordered last time I went (which was a couple of years ago at this point) is still on the menu, but regardless it was this venison chop with some sorta demi-glace and pesto? Whatever the case, whether it was a special or not, the menu here is immaculate and worth the price point.

Very nicely decorated for Christmas. Food should have been better than just ok for the high prices. I had several episodes of sand and one sliver of shell in my linguine and clam sauce, which stopped me from finishing my meal.

Best restaurant at the Jersey shore hands down. And the blackered pork chop with the Gorgonzola cheese sauce is the best meal I ate in the last year. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu including desert and cocktails. Staff is amazing too
