Last night we went to the Melting Pot for my husbands birthday! We are major foodies and enjoy being interactive during our meals. The food and cocktails are always top notch here & I have to shout out our server Jessica for being so amazing, personable & all around sweet as pie! I would come back and request her to be our server every single time! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Omg this place was absolutely stunning. The waitress was such a sweetheart, it was mine and my bfs anniversary and she went out of her way to bring us candles on rice krispy treats and wrote Happy Anniversary for us and made us make a wish. When we arrived the table was filled with rose petals, and candle, and extra rose flowers, Very romantic!! And the food and drinks were to die for, I couldn’t recommend this place any more, I absolutely recommend .

I went there for my birthday on Sunday. I only got the cheese and chocolate fondue. I have to say that they were delicious. My only problem is they don’t fill the pot up enough with the cheese or with the chocolate. If you want more, you pay more, I had to get two cheese fondue’s since I wasn’t getting the meats. I know some other places will fill up the pot almost all the way. I understand that inflation is going on but we are paying a lot of money for the food as it is, so I feel like the portion size of the cheese and chocolate fondue could definitely be a lot more. Other than that, everything tasted really good. The waitress was really nice and good. The atmosphere is great. I love this place. I just hope that you take these reviews into consideration. Thank you so much for my chocolate strawberry birthday gift. It was cute how they decorated my plate to say happy birthday

Ive never had Fondue before and it was a fun expierence for sure. I went by myself and I definitely recommended to bring a friend, the dining here isn’t super solo dining friendly but I still had a blast. However the prices are crazy considering the amount of food you’re getting. $30 each for an app, salad, and desert. And $40 for the entree. 1 of each adds up to a grand total of 130 for 1. And the actual food part wasnt much. But it was delicious tho. Service was amazing

We went for Valentines dinner on Friday the 13th. We picked this day hoping that It Would be less crowded. We had a 7:15 PM reservation and after waiting just a few minutes to be seated we arrived at our table with the extras that I had ordered.
The reason for the four stars is that we were rushed through Our meal. Two courses arrived at the same time and we weren’t even halfway finished with them when the next course arrived. I understand it’s a busy time for them, but if I’m spending over $200 for a meal, I would like a little more space for the courses, at least let me finish one before the next one arrives. I paid $19 for a lobster tail which barely had three bites, It was probably the smallest lobster tail I’ve ever seen.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. They offer vegan cheese here if you have a dairy allergy. The drinks are always made on point and you can’t go wrong with any cooking style here! Never a bad time and it’s always fun to come here and enjoy!

I just want to start by saying the staff here is extremely friendly and its really what made me want to leave this review. Lauren and Alexis were allstars and we appreciate the top tier level of service they provided more than anything. That being said I do have to be honest about the restaurant itself. I wasnt very impressed with the food. This was one of the first times I spent $250 for 2 people and left still hungry. We did the 4 course experience for 2. The cheese fondue starter was the highlight for me. That was amazing and I wish there was more of it. The Alpine fondue was 10/10! The main course was what left me very underwhelmed. It is a tiny portion of a mixture of meats/seafood and when I mean tiny I mean VERY TINY. I even got a 3oz petit filet add on which was $15 and it was the size of a golf ball. I would not recommend coming here if you are starving definitely eat before hand. I get its supposed to be an experience but it just didnt deliver for me personally. I felt like I was just poaching meats in a flavored water. Chocolate fondue at end was pretty good but the main course just wasnt for me, Again staff was amazing and want to give them props but the portion sizes are not for hungry men and for the price that just left me very confused. More than likely wouldnt do it again for the price. Girlfriend was happy with it just wasnt for me. 5/10 for food 10/10 for staff.

The place is extremely cute. I loved the atmosphere , the cozy tables and the wooden details. The vibes in this place are awesome and perfect for a romantic dinner. I came here with my husband to celebrate my late birthday ! I did not ask for any extras but i just wanted to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Our waiter, Alexander is an awesome guy , extremely friendly and very helpful , he took our orders and he answered to any questions we had. first of all I must say that I loved the experience of the fondue made on the table. The server brings the ingredients to your table , where a hot plate is heating up the pot , and then they put all the ingredients in the pot one at a time and then they mix all of them together so you can see the ingredients melting together. I loved this idea , I really think it matches perfectly the name of the restaurant too. we ordered two cheese fondues, because actually one was not enough for us ! We had the Wisconsin Cheddar and the Artichoke Spinach. The fondues come with dippers (fruit and veggie , bread and 4 slices of salami). The taste of the cheese fondues was amazing . We also had the milk chocolate fondue as dessert which comes with dippers (marshmallows, strawberry and banana and pieces of brownies and other cakes) and then we had baileys coffee which had whipped cream on the top. The taste of everything was just awesome. Now, I want to talk about what I didnt like : the price is too high – 30 $ each fondue pot which is supposed to be for two people but actually the price is not justified ( the ingredients used are not expensive and not in such a big amount ). The dippers are not so many but the server let us know we could order a refill as much as we could. I also ordered a salad which was delicious but again a small portion for a high price in my opinion. Overall, quantity doesn’t correspond to the price but the quality is definitely there. Another thing , I asked for some modifications in the dippers – whether I could have potatoes in addition to my fondue – but modifications were not possible . I won’t come back just because the price is not justified and i actually don’t find any efforts to satisfy the customers. The cocktail we ordered the basil refresher was also very tasty .

Stopped by for early dinner. Nice ambiance and interior design. Mimics the decor of Red Bank’s Historic Antique section of town. No reservation but was seated right away. It took some time to be greated by server but she was triple sat (three tables at once). I ordered Manahattan and my wife had a glass of wine. My drink could have been stirred a bit more. Sugar was mainly on bottom of glass. Drink was good though. We ordered the Classic Alpine Cheese Fondue to start. Everything was great except it had way too much much garlic in it. I love garlic (I’m Italian) but when the item gets overpowered with it, it ends up being all you taste. We then ordered a seasonal holiday Entree Fondue that had a champagne base. Absolutely delicious. My wife had shrimp, tuna and salmon with it. Be careful not to overcook. Only takes a minute. She enjoyed everything. I had the duck, pork and filet. I loved the pork and duck but was a bit disappointed with the filet. The server said it’s filet mignon but Im not sure if I believe that. Anyway, both my wife and I preferred both our courses without the dipping sauces, no need. The champagne fondue was so delicious. Maybe perhaps the mini potatoes you could use some. My second drink I ordered was on the house because the other beer I ordered was not in stock. Not necessary at all but very nice. The manager also came by to give us a $25 gift certificate just because it was holiday time and they appreciated our patronage. Also not necessary but very nice. We didn’t have any chocolate fondues. The two courses were enough for both of us. When we left Lauren also gave us three chocolate strawberries to go. My wife was very happy.

All around, great place for date night. Maybe don’t bring small children. There was a table next to us with two parents and four small children. The husband looked like he regretted having so many kids. Anyway, I would recommend it to anyone for something different. My wife and I had a great night out. We will go again some time in the future. Next time maybe bring another couple and try some different fondues.
