My parents were in town this weekend. My parents only eat at Shipley’s and I grew up on them. They were very excited to grab donuts for the family. I was anxious to see if the donuts have changed because we have been a few times and have been disappointed each time. We ordered donuts that were burnt, stale, and the kolaches are overdone and hard. My parents were very disappointed. Something is wrong. I honestly hope you can figure this out. We will not be back.

Got the chocolate doughnut holes. They were great and they really helped me through my day. Ok. Prepare yourselves. This coffee was the strongest ever. 1. It tasted so good since I got the Hazelnut Shipley House Coffee 2. The Coffee has to have like a million milligrams of caffeine because I felt like my mind was working 100 times faster. This Shipleys was great, I really recommend the donut holes and the house coffee!

As many others have stated the donuts are not the same as other locations and they’ve done nothing to improve this. I was really rooting for this location and wanted it to make it, but I’m going to start going back to the other Shipleys in the area. Additionally, half the time when we go they are out of the most popular donuts or the donuts look like their days old.
Side note, what makes this even worse is they caused a local family owned donut shop to close down because this opened and now I can’t even support them…

The donuts and kolaches are still not the same as all other locations we have been to. The customer service is great, and we have given this location many chances, but the recipes are off from the other locations. I have had burned apple fritters, “miniature” blueberry cake donuts when expecting regular size, and the donuts are very dense. We are disappointed in the product, but would very much like to see this business succeed if the recipes could change to be the same as the other Shipley locations.
