Broooo every single time I pull up to smash some BBQ, my guy Jesse does NOT miss. He really be throwing it DOWN.
Food? Stupid good. Vibes? Elite. Brisket? On point every time. Burnt ends? Actually insane. Ribs always tender, juicy, falling off the bone like they got somewhere to be. And don’t even get me started on the pickled onions and jalapeños… sheeesh.

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the enticing smoky aroma.
They also have a nice selection of local beers.
We split a dinner featuring 3 meats and 1 side, and it was plenty of food.
Everything was delicious. We had ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The side was mac and cheese – pro tip: mix your pulled pork with the mac and cheese. If you’re a cornbread fan, theirs is the best I’ve ever had.
(I did have a food photo, but it apparently did not save ♀️)
We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Tables come with rolls of paper towels, and you’ll need them!
Also, the staff is very friendly.
We will be back!
PS – The mural photo is in downtown Geneva on 3rd St. We were so full we needed a walk.

The brisket was really good and had great flavor by itself. As well as the pulled pork and rib tips. I didn’t like the lemon flavor in the chicken, I feel that’s more of an Italian thing, not bbq, but that’s just me, the chicken was great quality.
I didn’t like the sausage, again because I don’t like cheese in my sausage.
I loved the beans, they had a kick to them. SO good. The potato salad was yummy too. The one sauce they say is spicy, it’s not, but great flavor, that was my fav. They are a good selection of beers. I will be coming back. It was GOOD.

Best BBQ I have had in Illinois. Service was amazing. The “burnt end” is the best along with brisket and pull pork.
Service is really excellent, DJ, Ashely and Jesse were thoughtful and friendly. We love it here, will def come back.

We were excited to try this place. From outside it seemed to be a great restaurant… And then what a let down. .. the girl at the register looked upset. We said hello and didn’t get a response from her. I ordered mac’n’cheese . I wanted fries but she said they ran out of fries (??in the afternoon? with an empty place?) , so I had beans. My husband ordered the BBQ sandwich with “mac’n’cheese”.
Disgusting! The presentation was not appealing. The mac was so synthetic tasting, horrible. The beans were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. My husband said his sandwich was ok and detested the mac.
First and last time for us. They won’t miss us and neither will us.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered food online for delivery, and one of the dishes appeared to be leftover food that they were likely planning to throw away. I called the restaurant, and the server apologized, saying he had been wondering where the leftovers had gone. If such a mistake can happen before the food even leaves the restaurant, I can’t imagine what mistakes might happen in the kitchen. I threw the food away. As of now, I still haven’t received a refund for this order.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The quality, handling of food, and lack of prompt resolution are unacceptable.

Our first time and LAST. The only good meat is the brisket. Period. The rest of the meat was too salty. The rib tips were hard: like over cooked. The chicken was terribly salty. The beans were ok. The taffy apple bread pudding was disgusting: too hard to be called bread pudding. Good service but pricey. Not coming back. We should’ve gone to the Texas BBQ..
