Really good donut shop and convenient location. The breakfast sandwiches were really good and not greasy, which is a huge plus. They also have a deal for a breakfast sandwich and doughnut for four dollars.
The staff was friendly but inadequate. Slow and the girl dropped donuts container on the floor and picked it up to use for our order. If they do that in front of guests than nervous to see what is in the back. She was also touching her headset (and hair) to turn on/off with her glove and then getting donuts.

As someone who grew up in a family-run donut shop before I was even old enough to legally work in one, I’m admittedly tough to impress when it comes to donuts. Shipley Do-Nuts, the Texas chain now popping up in Maryland, earns a respectable four stars — but that’s rare for me, since I generally only drop below five when something truly misses the mark.
To be clear, nothing was bad. The donuts were fine, the service friendly, the place clean. But the flavor and texture just felt… hollow. The donuts had that overly processed sweetness and airy bite that leans more toward mass-production than craft.
The coffee matched the same energy: drinkable, but forgettable. They’ve got an expanded menu, which is nice, but when your name is Do-Nuts, the donuts should be the soul of the place.
It’s not a bad stop, just not a necessary one — especially in a world already crowded with Dunkins, Krispys, and grocery store bakery counters offering the same level of satisfaction. Four stars for effort, but I’ll keep chasing the kind of donut that makes you nostalgic.

I’m really glad I missed my turn, used their lot to turn around (and found really good donuts at excellent prices).
A very polite guy helped me immediately when I walked in. It was not busy at 1 pm.
The place has plenty of parking and access is easy off and back on 175.

As first time customers here, the employee was very patient with us as we made our decisions. The donuts were ok, but not our favorite. The kolaches were our reason for stopping. They were very filling and tasteful.

It’s my first time to try this place. It was Sunday afternoon and was quiet. The donuts tasted good. I love that they use walnuts instead of peanuts for the toppings. The guy Dominic who served us was patient and nice.

I was really wanting to like Shipley donuts, but unfortunately, the atmosphere was weird. The service and the staff are just not attentive. And I didn’t get my order right! I ordered things and they didn’t give me what I ordered. Something was missing from one of my other orders, and honestly,my experience there SUCKED. An online order… And I still had to stand in line for 20 minutes. The service there is horrible! I don’t recommend if you’re going to go, then go to a different one other than the Odenton location.
As for the food, I am don’t dislike it. I think it was decent. The prices are okay, but go to a different location.

Showed up at 11. Asked for warm donuts and was told they are no longer making donuts at this time and all their machines were turned off therefore I would not be receiving warm donuts. Location doesn’t close till 5. I love Shipley’s chain but do not recommend this location.

Amazing. I love this donut shop. It is so clean and fresh. I love the variety and Flavors of The Month donuts. So many good choices to choose from. The Salted Caramel Iced Latte was so good. Ryan and Diane gave excellent service. They greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. Ryan gave me suggestions and recommendations. Even John the Manager was friendly and polite. I will definitely make this my “Go-To” Donut shop! Plus the donuts are so fresh and yummy!

I love coming to Shipley’s, they have great donuts and the kolache’s are on point. But the past several weeks, no matter what time I come they never have Jalapeno Cheddar Kolache’s. It’s the whole reason we come to Shipley’s. If something is that popular why don’t you make it more frequently?

This was my second visit and I’m just as happy as I was the first time. Today I was able to get a blueberry filled donut and I loved it. All of the donuts I tried were amazing. I also was able to try one of their colaches and it was fantastic. I had a sausage, cheese, and jalapeno, and I will definitely be getting these again. Great job Shipley Donuts
