I ordered:
Dallas
Chorizo, crispy jalapeños, cheddar & roasted garlic chipotle hollandaise served on French fries
I switched out the French fries for English muffins because I like things more traditional. Plus, I felt French fries might have made things too salty overall.
For sides, I got the cornbread, which was quite good!
I do personally think the combination is slightly on the saltier side, but that’s fine. The crispy jalapeños were certainly nice, and so was the chipotle hollandaise.
However, I have to say that the taste does not compare to brunches I’ve had in Montreal and in Toronto.
their thetis eggs benedict tasted avrg but i felt that the sauce was overpowered by the taste of bell peper. however their sqash soup was BEAUTIFUL and PACKED with flavour, tho it was a little too sweet. their bread was also quite nice. overall 2.8/5
Ive always had a great experience at the downtown location, but this one on Fort was simply horrible.
Arriving on site to 3 dirty tables outside, no biggie.
Our meal was delivered without cutlery and I had to get up to go get my own.
No one asked once how our meal was.
In fact, when my Eggs Benedict arrived, she placed in front of me a half order and said, “Here’s one. The second will arrive shortly.”
How about just deliver me what I ordered?
I had to ask for more water which didn’t even happen after requesting it.
After sitting around for 10 minutes, I finally decided to go inside to pay because no one was coming over to help us.
Just a lame experience overall.
Their mimosa was really good as a side point, they used pulpy orange juice for mine and I was overjoyed!!
I really hope you think about eating here next time you’re in the neighborhood, some of the best food I’ve had across Canada!
Of returning here. Never fails to impress. Great staff. Warm and inviting. Great food. If you plan to go at normal eating times, I’d recommend making a reservations as wait times can be lengthy ( it is worth it).
