Flavor is what started this adventure, and it continues to lead the way. Growing up in Japan inspired me to share the authentic Japanese flavors I was raised on — from fresh, handcrafted sushi rolls to rich, savory ramen and traditional Japanese comfort dishes. At Shin Hollywood, we focus on high-quality ingredients, bold Japanese cuisine, and a welcoming dining experience. Whether you’re craving sushi, ramen, tempura, Japanese appetizers, or a full dine-in experience in Hollywood, our goal is to bring you the true taste of Japan. We look forward to serving you the best Japanese food, sushi, and ramen on Hollywood Boulevard.

I went for the Hollywood Roll and WOW… the sauce, the crisp on the salmon, the texture—absolutely elegant. It literally melts in your mouth. I haven’t had sushi hit like that in a long time.
The drive and the walk down the Hollywood Boulevard were worth every second just to sit down and enjoy some of the finest, freshest rolls in LA. Great atmosphere funny server the hospitality that recommendations was so far out of out of this world.
Pro tip: They’ve got a deal right now—buy one roll, get the next half off. Can’t beat that.
If you’re ever in the area, go check out my boy Tim at Shin Sushi & Beer. 10/10 recommend.
Less then $100 for two people
The place has style, charm, grace – oh, and incredible sushi and ramen. The lovely owner, Tim, grew-up in Japan and is at the top of his game.
My ‘go to’ dish is the Fire Ramen with tofu, mushrooms, spinach, avocado, plus optional extras such as fresh garlic, shredded ginger, cherry tomatoes and broccoli. Not forgetting the luscious green tea and spicy garlic edamame on the side.
Don’t hesitate, and don’t be swayed by the small location. It’s absolutely terrific and punches well above its weight. Awesome.
