Reviews
I picked up our order, and when we opened it, we started with the poppadoms and dip — it was one of the best dips I’ve ever had (I really enjoy my food). The chicken pakoras were very nice — different, but made with fresh meat. The vegetable pakoras were honestly the best I’ve ever eaten.
The curry was slightly on the sweet side( my partner said it’s how it supposed to be) but very delicious, and the peshwari naan was delightful. For the first time ever, I didn’t have a single bad comment about any of the dishes. Usually, I prefer different items from different places, but this time I enjoyed every single bite.
I would recommend the place, probably we’ll try the buffet, as well.
Forgot to mention that the staff seemed very nice and friendly.
Friendly professional staff
The selection of food is good and it tastes amazing..
Highly recommend..
Will definitely be back to visit again
While at the buffet my daughter asked if the pakora were gluten free as she has an allergy to wheat, the waiter told her no, so she avoided them.
Ten minutes later, the waiter appeared at our table with two specially made gluten free pakora especially for her! Such amazing service.
Personally I don’t eat meat but I do love the sauce that they cook it in, so I had loads of different sauces with plenty of naan and rice to soak it all up.
On the subject of rice, if you like rice pudding, I HIGHLY recommend theirs (in the desert section).
After the review below the restaurant very kindly sent me a £20 voucher which I used today, chicken tandoori starter, south Indian garlic chilli chicken main, pilau rice plus a garlic naan. The tandoori chicken might have been a shade overcooked but it was really tasty and tender, the main had plenty chicken in but wasn’t short of sauce either, nann very good indeed too. All in all impressive meal indeeed. My heartfelt thanks to the management for the voucher.
It would definitely seem that the previous visit below is not typical, either they had a bad night or I made bad choices.
Therefore my ratings have been upgraded.
Visited tonight and ordered onion bhaji, special karahi bhuna and a garlic naan and was told it would be available to pick up in 30 mins – good sign cooking to order
The onion bhaji is flat like a battered burger and not hot , it also came with large chunks of raw onion.
The special karahi, which is described as made with a host of spices was bland and tasteless and rather sweet certainly not spicy, it contained a couple of large chunks of uncooked tomato, the onions in it were very discoloured and mushy and we’re certainly not freshly cooked.
The 2 free poppadoms provided again were not fresh and crispy but rather stale.
The garlic naan was very good but on the small side
Almost £17 for a takeaway meal as described above was definitely not value for money and I would not recommend a visit
