Before I write this review, I have to pray to let go of my anger. After visiting Yosemite, I drove for about three hours before visiting this Korean BBQ restaurant in Fresno. I don’t know who wrote the reviews on Google, but the review score of 4.0 is far wrong. My honest feelings after visiting this restaurant is that it is not qualified in all aspects, including service and food-level consumer attitude, and to put it more bluntly, the health agency should immediately conduct an on-site audit and order it to be suspended.

Hygienic is 0 over 0. Walk straight in and got a table that previously had dined by another customers. Just starting to put some meat into the grill, I noticed the surrounding of the grill is covered with greases and sauces from the previous customers. Ask to talk to the manager, he said it’s normal and not dirty eventhough the stain from the previous customers. Ask if they can switch the table, they said they cannot cuz they only turning one set of vent. They refused to accommodate us neither switching the table or have someone clean it for us. The manager is ignorance, inconsiderate, irresponsible and has the worst behavior toward customers.

Waitress was young and perky and friendly. We got our food in a timely manner. Grill was change out after each meat delivered. Water comes in a bottle and yes, you have to pay for water ($1) it was a good food portion for 4 people, we were stuffed.

Buffet style Korean BBQ. First, You choose 3 meats to order then the server returns again to ask for your next three meats. Mushroom tofu soup, pancake, and rice were appetizers. I took my wife for her birthday. We ordered two lemonades. The squid was a disappointment because it tasted like teriyaki sauce. They marinaded the squid. There was a $3 surcharge for credit card use. Total was $90 including $10 tip.

Super unwelcoming older Asian female employee at the front. She was so rude. She didn’t welcome us in. She just asked how many people, walked us to our table and didn’t ask us what drinks we needed or inform us of who our server was. It is 105 degrees today and we’ve been sitting at our table for about 10-15 minutes. I went to ask the lady who walked us to our table and she asked where I was seated and said that’s my server. I asked her oh that’s my server? And she looks at me with a face like I’m dumb as she is sweeping the floor at the appetizer station. I wanted to walk out but my sister was really craving kibbutz, so I didn’t make a big deal out of it. I went to ask the server and he said he was really nice about it when I asked if he was our server. I’m super annoyed with this employee’s customer service. It’s my first time encountering someone working the service industry to be this rude and unwelcoming. Be warned everyone, I hope no one encounters her during their time here.

Straightforward BBQ place. Your table gets an array of vegetables, rice, egg pancakes and meats. Also included is a platterful of eggless potato salad, kimchi, and sprouts. As much as we tried we couldn’t finish everything. It was delicious. Friendly service topped off our dinner.

The service was terrible, the only time the server came to our table was when I flagged her down. Also, they charge you for water, which is ILLEGAL under California law. The food was mid, with some dishes being way too salty. Would not recommend.
