We always go here, primarily because its one of the few KBBQ places in fresno. but comparatively, the prices are reasonable. 35 per adult, as opposed to the ones In the bay that go up to 50/60 per person.
The good:
food is almost always a little frozen when it comes out, and pink depending on the meat you order. There’s a bar for your sides, which I appreciate bc I love noodle salad and kimchi. The music is always kpop or kpop adjacent. Its usually not too loud. As most kbbq, its all you can eat. Most of the meat on the menu is pretty good flavor wise.
The cons:
We aren’t really greeted unless we call someone over to seat us so we can eat. The guy who usually serves us is very passive, and has a little bit of an annoyed attitude with us. Still, he still checks in and is mostly accommodating like with changing the grill and more meat/rice/ drinks/ chopstics etc. The grills are kinda old fashioned in comparison to other full metal plates. Food sticks to them a little more often, but the flame itself adds extra flavor. The tables do have some streaks from wiping them down. Im not sure how old the egg plates that come with the meal are. Scissors can be dull.
Overall, its still a solid place to come for kbbq in fresno. The sauces that come with are pretty good, basic ones. If you’re not too focused on the details like I mentioned earlier, it’s actually quite enjoyable. 🙂

They touched my utensils every single time they served. It’s pricey(charge for water) and they absolutely have zero sanitary guidelines. Only one server on Saturday evening and they treated you like you owe them money.
For your health, I do not recommend to anyone.

Never had a problem till today. Food was good but service not. 1 server for over 30 people in restaurant. Took forever for ham and to get our order. Then, when the meat got there, it took forever for the grille to warm up.He lagged between each, check in to see if we needed more meat and we couldn’t get his attention because he was doing one table at a time. there was a lot of downtime where we didn’t even have meat cooking on the grille. Servings were very small for my family of four. when we arrived, we saw another family renew. They sat us near each other, but at separate tables and asked if we were together. We said, no, we are separate. They charged us separate and then tried to charge us gratuity for a group of nine, but we were at two separate tables, two separate families. The people at front were arguing with us about it telling us we were all one party even though they asked from the beginning and we said No we are separate. And ontop of being rushed out they said we at for 90min the max but it was not true. She started the time when we checked in. We then waited fifteen minutes to be seated, and then another fifteen minutes before the waiter came by to take our order. We will not be going back do to this bad experience.

Don’t make the same mistake we did by coming here simply because it’s the only options in the area. Just stop and think—please DON’T COME HERE. If you’re visiting, it’s honestly better to hold off and eat elsewhere.

For $35 per person, you would expect a good variety of food—especially from a place claiming to offer KBBQ. Unfortunately, this felt more like a fake, wannabe KBBQ experience. The selection was very limited, far from authentic, and even the side dishes were bland and flavorless.

Service was also disappointing. Our table was rarely checked on, and we often had to look around or wait for assistance. To make matters worse, because we were a party of six or more, gratuity was automatically added despite the lack of attentiveness and service.

On top of that, there are extra charges for using a card, and almost everything comes with an added cost, even water. For the price, the overall experience fell well short of expectations.

Overall, not worth the money or the hype. Proceed with caution.⚠️

Updated review. Last time we had this place was 4 years ago. I really need to check the recent reviews before going back to an establishment i haven’t been to in a long time. I drove 4 hours to come back and have my family try this place and man do I regret ever writing a positive review. This place has definitely gone down the drain. Service is horrible and people talk down to you. The meat comes out tasting like gasoline because of all the oil in the grill. I asked the guy how often do you clean the grill and he tried to educate me about their process especially when you can obviously see that my onions were covered with soot from the grease fire. They constantly raised and lowered the fire and I think we ate half our food uncooked. For $33 dollars a person, it’s like the frontier airlines of Korean food. $3 for a cup of tea? Bill came out to $166 for 4 people. Total waste of time and money. I feel like I have to apologize to the guy who read my review and drove down from Yosemite. Takes a lot for me to write a bad review and this was a lot.

This is the review from 4 years ago that i wrote. Update to yesterday’s post! I’m back here for lunch and it seriously is unbeatable! $13 all you can eat with an assortment of meats to choose from. Below is yesterday’s post.

This place was a bit iffy in the beginning because I didn’t see any old Korean Hajuma’s (ladies) hanging around the kitchen. Being a bit of a Korean food expert I was a bit apprehensive but didn’t hesitate to give it a try. The service started off great and it continued to the end! They didn’t hesitate to ask us numerous times if we wanted more meats and they changed the grill several times so that we weren’t getting too much char on our food. Best part was that they had plenty of lettuce and sides set up for us to get at our leisure. The meats were well seasoned and the choices of meat were quit abundant. The only thing missing was some Korean Joasan paintings on the wall to cover the bare walls. The place was super clean and the staff was amazing. I would definitely give this place a go when in town. If for some reason you’ve never tried Korean food go there for a lunch intro and go back for dinner.

Everything was delicious! We like the large selection of sides, and the shave ice was huge, but very refreshing! Our server was amazing! She was by herself, because her worker had called out. It was busy, but she handled all the tables by herself, and still had a great attitude. Thank you! We’ll be back soon!

Before I write this review, I have to pray to let go of my anger. After visiting Yosemite, I drove for about three hours before visiting this Korean BBQ restaurant in Fresno. I don’t know who wrote the reviews on Google, but the review score of 4.0 is far wrong. My honest feelings after visiting this restaurant is that it is not qualified in all aspects, including service and food-level consumer attitude, and to put it more bluntly, the health agency should immediately conduct an on-site audit and order it to be suspended.
As you can see from the picture I attached, it is a restaurant with no quality and management of meat, and the attitude of the employees at work is also the lowest. This is a reminder to everyone who visits Fresno. I hope you never go to this restaurant. I don’t know how long this restaurant will stay open, but at least all my acquaintances will never visit. I couldn’t eat the food I ordered. Because I felt like I would get food poisoning when I ate meat and prepared side dishes from this restaurant. My review of this restaurant is the first time in my life that I want to give a minus. Asking to google to reevaluate this store seriously.
“I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL PERIOD!”

Customer service was ok! The food was fresh and price was reasonable. Our grill didn’t cook as fast even though it was on high. We sat around waiting for our food to slowly cook most of the time. They had a limit of 90 mins and with a slow grill we were able to only put in 3 rounds of meat within that time. I noticed after the 90 mins the waiter just walks pass the table and don’t even offer if they can get you more food because they’re probably waiting for you leave.

Hygienic is 0 over 0. Walk straight in and got a table that previously had dined by another customers. Just starting to put some meat into the grill, I noticed the surrounding of the grill is covered with greases and sauces from the previous customers. Ask to talk to the manager, he said it’s normal and not dirty eventhough the stain from the previous customers. Ask if they can switch the table, they said they cannot cuz they only turning one set of vent. They refused to accommodate us neither switching the table or have someone clean it for us. The manager is ignorance, inconsiderate, irresponsible and has the worst behavior toward customers.

Second time but only because fresno has limited K-BBQ options.

It’s ok, especially when compared to the notion of, “Well, its better than nothing. ” It’s just that — ok.
