Best Korean BBQ in Clovis!!! (And only one of the only in Clovis…). The food was AMAZING!!! Definitely reccomend the marinated short ribs, bulgogi, and beef brisket. Portions are very large, but be mindful, as excess leftover meat will result in a $5 charge. The atmosphere and waiters were friendly and extremely hospitable. 10/10 would come again!

Very delicious. Just remember to not wear your favorite clothing or jacket there cause of the smoke from bbq. You will go home smelling like the restaurant. Other than that food is great , fun part of it is waiting for your own food to cook.

It’s very expensive, for 2 people I spent $90. That’s for all you can eat and drinks and ice cream. We both got water which was $1 each and the “refill” was another dollar. That was my main shortcoming of this. Bottle water instead of free water. It was good food but my partner said the ones with spice just have hot sauce on top of them, so they taste similar to the ones without sauce and was almost pointless to get.

Familiarize yourself with the marinated meats you are about to cook before you get here. I’ve seen some pretty bad reviews without good reason. Spent $80 before tip for all you can eat for 2. Just like any other all you can eat, you get there hungry! (Duh) The marinated meats were great and the rice was fresh! The place could use remodeling all around. Only complaint is that they turn the fire on the grill up too high which is not necessary. Low/medium heat is preferred to cook thoroughly and sear. Grill grate is swapped often for a clean cooking experience. 3.8 of 5 overall!

I spent years thinking this place was closed. It’s so dark. Why not make it more appealing? I enjoyed the boneless short ribs. Not much else. The sides weren’t good. The kimchi looked dark and wilted. The waiter didn’t offer any details regarding the food or how their menu worked. Staff would come and offer things, but would mumble and we would struggle to understand what they were asking. As others said, it’s just bottled water. We asked for kids cups for water and they said they didn’t have anything like that.

Been to a lot of Korean BBQ places in CA. Was in town visiting family and we thought we would check it out. First off. No atmosphere. Black wall and odd feeling. Meat was good, as were the other food items.

No venting in place. Super smokey. And finally when you order water you are told they only have bottles for a dollar. What??? In CA it is required by law for restraunts to provide free tap water when requested. The restaurant can be fined for refusing.

Definitely won’t be back.

Service was good, very attentive. I came during lunch ($20) instead of dinner/weekend ($35) and was satisfied with the variety of food to grill: boneless short rib, pork belly, bulgogi, shrimp, brisket. There was 6 dishes of banchan available (kimchi radish, japchae, kimchi, sweet potato salad, stir fried bean sprouts, kimchi cucumbers, and a large Korean vegetable pancake.

4% charge for credit card usage. $3 for drinks. Once you order the meat, it comes pretty quickly to your table. Definitely ask for lettuce and gochujang as it does not come unless asked. They provide sesame oil and sweetened soy sauce (?) to dip. Recommend that you put lots of salt and pepper in your sesame oil prior to dipping!

The food itself was okay. They don’t provide any oil (sesame oil does not belong on the grill!) so the meat tends to stick to the grill. Thinner slices like the pork belly and the brisket really would just stick like glue to the grill. I feel like it would be really easy to just provide a small bowl of vegetable oil on the side, or add it when the grill is replaced.

Inside is VERY smoky, if you have issues with breathing I would be cautious of going here. Vents are quiet, but I think they’re too high to really suction up the excess smoke.

I’ve been to other Korean BBQ places and it’s a solid 3/5, but seeing as it’s the only Korean BBQ place in Fresno, it has to go up to a 4/5. It could definitely do better imo but for the price at lunch, it’s a good deal.

This is the first time I have ever had Korea BBQ and I was not to impressed . The all you can eat is great and they keep bringing more food for you to grill however as this was our first time the staff was not very helpful in explaining how se would do this . They gave us a ton of samples . I will have to visit another Korean BBq place to give this place a true rating. I was not very impressed with the bathrooms . Will I try it again ? Yes after I try a bother place first .

It’s an okay place where you have to cook your own food. this place is a SOLID 3 out of 5. Nothing wrong with that rating at all. The experience was good. The waitresses were helpful, nice and welcoming. The employees are definitely a 5 out of 5. Food was okay. When doing buffet style, you can only pick 3 meats. They will replace the grill after your rounds of meat. The marinated meat is good but bbq it in any way, it still doesn’t give you that ‘memorable’ taste. The pork belly slices were not thick but thin enough to have it cooked fairly quick. The marinated beef was tasty but the sauce just didn’t have the ‘kick’. The marinated chicken was good but not astonishing. The brisket was probably the best meat. The sides were decent but forgettable. The seafood was okay. It’s not close to the authentically fresh seafood but its okay for what it is. If you’re expecting ‘fresh-out-of-the-water-justgotthesquidthismorning”, you’ve come to the wrong BBQ. Overall, the food experience was just okay. It’s interesting that you can bbq your own food but having been to several Korean BBQ spots, this one is okay. If this is the only Korean Barbecue in the area, it’s not too bad but don’t expect high-end quality meats.

I’ve been in this town for 10 years, I’ve been aware of this kBBQ for a while and everyone just told me it was just ok so I didn’t really feel like going, but finally a week ago I was so curious I decided to go and I really enjoyed it, I have tried many kkbqs in many many different places and I give this one 5 star because personally it satisfies the kkbq cravings I have enough, I personally like lunch more as it is cheaper and the only meat I get here is brisket and bulgogi, and it’s all I need, the potato salad, the rice and the soup is good, but for dinner I think the flavor of the la marinated short rib and the rib eye is good , green tea ice cream is also very good

Summarized: it satisfies my kBBQ craving without going out of town, lunch time is ideal
