I really want to love the place because it is so close to home and the people are nice, but they should really take pho off the menu since they clearly don’t know how it is done. No siracha or hoisin unless specially requested . The beef is dry and doesn’t smell bad, but it certainly doesn’t smell good, thickly cut and cardboard level well done. And worst of all the garnishes are all wrong. Instead of Lime and Basil, you get lemon and parsley. Tonight, the sprouts were surprisingly crisp, but usually they are a straight pass. Usually, the other food is pretty good including sushi and poke bowl. But the pho is so bad I am rethinking rolling the dice on raw fish.

Decided to try this place from a friend’s recommendation as I’ve been searching for a traditional sushi experience…this is again, not what I was looking for. Food was mediocre at best. Service was ok however the two guys behind the sushi bar didn’t even bother to acknowledge us…strange?
Ambiance was more bar/grill than a sushi restaurant. The search continues…uhg

First time dining at Shiki Sushi. Stopped in for a late lunch so it wasn’t too crowded. Cool vibe; great service staff. Ordered appetizers, sashimi and rolls from a menu that offers a large variety of options. Very good food, spice level mild to meet local palate demands. Good quality and variety of fish; spicy tuna is pureed rather than chopped which is a little strange. Giving 4 stars not 5 because a good cleaning and sushi bar remodel would take this from a very good restaurant to a great one. Other reviewers recommend take out only because of the sticky tables and smudgy glass; taking pride in the atmosphere and using a little windex would solve the less than 5 star reviews and allow for a great dining experience.

We’ve always ordered the steak hibachi, either for pickup or delivery. It’s always been prepared well, as ordered, but like everything else the portions have become smaller. My daughter also loves a lot of their sushi options.

We got takeout and we were impressed with the quality of the fish. This place definitely has the best sushi menu compared to other places nearby. We ordered a mix of nigiri, hibachi and soup. Great for the whole family!

Food is decent for takeout – but our last FOUR orders have been wrong. They always leave something out even though I have paid for it and it’s not worth driving all the way back to get it. This last and final time, they left out half of my daughter’s meal. Luckily I don’t trust them to get the order correct so I checked it while still there. It took them an additional 25 minutes to make the missing items. At this point, it was 1.5 hours for a take out order for three people. That was it. Never again will I go there.

Stopped for a quick lunch and was glad to see that they have lunch specials in addition to a large and varied menu. The service was very much on point and tge food delicious. We shared a steak hibachi bento bowl which came also with soup or salad. We both ended up getting salad and the ginger dressing is thick and awesome. We shared a lunch special if 3 sushi rolls and salad which was dbout $13. Good value. We tried a spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and Philadelphi roll. All in all we left there stuffed and had a pleasant lunch. The atmosphere is sort of dark and nice.
Our service was really excellent she was very attentive and accommodating. Will definately be back.

Ordered the wachamaw roll (really good), and the shiki roll (not impressed). The outside of the shiki roll was good but the spicy tuna and spicy salmon inside had a weird texture and didn’t really look like any spicy tuna/salmon mix I’ve seen in a sushi roll before. The wachamaw roll and seaweed salad were good enough that I’ll definitely try this place again but probably not a roll that has “spicy tuna” or “spicy salmon” in it.
