To me, this is the best hibachi spot in Mooresville, NC. They give you plenty of food for the price — I ordered the hibachi chicken and steak with no veggies, and it automatically came with extra fried rice for about $14. The meal comes with one shrimp sauce, and it’s an extra charge if you want more. The portion size is generous, the flavor is great, and the food is always hot and fresh. Definitely my go-to hibachi spot in the area!

We just stopped for the first-time over the holiday, to be honest we have passed by it for a couple years thinking it would be the same old Japanese food that needs sauce to eat it. It was NOT it was really good and quite fresh. The portions were very generous and their prices are fair and reasonable. The wait staff was super attentive as well. We will be a loyal customer from now onwards.

Really sweet little spot right off 150. Pretty fair prices, especially for the lunch specials. Staff have always been very friendly, and food is nice. Only complaint is, as others have said, they tend to go too heavy on the fish sauce for the sushi rolls.

We had a great experience tonight on our first ever visit to this restaurant! Our waiter was kind and very competent. Our food came quickly and was perfect. We started with two orders of pan fried gyoza, which were soft and warm. We had a bit of every style of dinner. Our 6yo had the steak kid’s meal and a California roll with cream cheese. I ordered the pick 3 with our child and enjoyed the spicy and tempura rolls chosen. My husband got hibachi steak and shrimp and it looked very tasty with plenty of big pieces of meat and vegetables. The shrimp sauce, too, was good.

Ate here thinking it was going to be like the other Shikis we had been to. ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED beyond words!! Food AMAZING, atmosphere awesome and SERVICE EXCELLENT! Hands down the BEST japenese restaurant I’ve even been too. They excelled all expectations well above what we were expecting. Worth the 35 minute ride just for good food and great service!!

Visiting from out of town and came for dinner. Sushi was tasty and good. The food was definitely enjoyable and filling.
The service was amazing for the given conditions. I think the whole restaurant only had 1 server and he was terrific.

The sushi was great but the chef went heavy with all the sauce. Sushi doesn’t need the amount of sauce that we received. Less is more and a drizzle of sauce is all that was needed. Service was great. We will definitely stop by again.

I always struggle to find a place that both my kids like. This place was spot on, the wait staff was super attentive and the food was great. We tried 2 rolls, salmon shrimp pork and steak between us and everyone devoured their food. My picky eater ate fish, veges, and sushi which was surprising and a testament to how good the food is. We will definitely return.
