I’m so surprised at how delicious this restaurant is! It was my first visit, and my friend said it’s her favorite spot in town. The rare beef (Marinated Butter Beef) was incredible! The dry two kinds noodles, spicy basil clams and the butter chicken wings were amazing too! I’ll definitely come back next time!

Maybe I went in with really high expectations because this place is so hyped. We ordered the fried rice, dry egg noodle, and chicken wings.
The dry egg noodle was meaty and came with soup — the pork bone soup was actually really good and probably the highlight of the meal. However, the dry egg noodles themselves tasted a bit bitter and lacked flavor. The fried rice was pretty bland; it definitely needed salt or more seasoning. The chicken wings were okay, but nothing outstanding.
That said, the price point is good and the service was great, which I appreciated. Overall, not bad, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. But I would come back to try other dishes !

Came for lunch on a Saturday. If you get in line right before opening at 11am, you can get a spot for the first seating. We got the usual chicken wings, butter beef, beef luclac and the oyster pancake. Everything was as per usual, tasted not bad. Butter beef balance was a bit off during this visit. Chicken wings are just as addicting. The beef luclac wasn’t my favourite as it lacked a bit of flavour. The oyster pancake was crispy and had quite a bit of oyster.

Phnom Penh is a go to destination for locals and tourists. It blends Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes into delicious meals that’s served family style. We’ve never been disappointed going there. Our go to dishes are the famous wings, butter beef and luc lac with an egg. The moo shakes are great too. We’ve also had the papaya salad which is pretty tasty and refreshing too. The only issue with Phnom Penh is that they don’t do reservations and with it being so popular, you’re most likely going to have to wait. But it’s definitely worth it! There’s a bar down the street where you can wait things out.

The food was amazing, Asian food is my preferred kinda food that makes me full and satisfied. Other than food, the service was also excellent, we had 2 people birthday on that day, and they treated us so special. What a good and kind service you have. Thank you so much!

We came here after people raved about a Cambodian place we should try in Vancouver. However, especially given the long wait, I feel like this place perhaps wasn’t as great as I expected. The food was solid (we ordered the beef noodle soup and beef luc pic), free tea was a nice touch, but I don’t know if it was worth waiting a good hour+ for. The beef was definitely on the tougher side in terms of texture, but the flavor was good. Might be worth trying once, but would not wait this long again.

Amazing food (garlic chicken) and it shows with the long wait people are willing to accept.
Unfortunately, their strength is also a double edged sword.
They don’t accept waitlisting ahead of time so you’re forced to go in person and wait 1 hour+.
Not everyone can afford to wait in person for that long but if you can, just expect for it to take a while…

Tried Phnom Penh for the first time and overall it was a good experience, but probably a one-time visit for me.
