We stopped at Shigs In Pit BBQ & Brew for dinner and enjoyed our evening. It was easy to order up at the counter and then we got our drinks and found a table. Our food came out shortly. We enjoyed the sauces on the table. The bar area was very busy and looked like a good time.

Enjoyed visiting this restaurant! The building is nice with plenty of seating and a comfortable atmosphere. We ordered the meat platter — the ribs were decent and definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the brisket and other meats had very little smoke flavor, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the portions were generous and we left full.

We got “The Big Shig Platter” ribs, ham, turkey & “brisket”. Ribs were good, ham was not, turkey was meh, “brisket” was roast beef from Arby’s. Mac & Cheese was cute with no flavor. Beans were too sweet….and omg I asked if the Potato Casserole was like Potato Salad and they said yeah…no no no absolutely not… who puts Corn Flakes on “Potato Salad”?!

I’ve been a regular customer here for years and always enjoyed the food and service. Recently, I ordered online and everything was way too spicy — my kids couldn’t even eat it.
We gave it another try a few days later, and again the chicken fingers (ordered for my kids) were spicy. I tried to talk to someone about it, but they didn’t seem to care. Very disappointed with the inconsistency after being a loyal customer for so long.

I love the concept and atmosphere! I recently stopped on my back from Michigan. My family are I were so sick on fast food we decided to give this place a shot.
My kids both got chicken tender kids meals. I got 10 smoked wings. My wife got the tin can!
So this was our first time. I liked that you order at the counter and bring it to you. I also like the craft brew selection from Mad Anthony. I also loved the smoked wings. I’m a bit of a chicken wing connoisseur and I will say smoked wings with their own original sauce was top tier! We also all liked the fries.
What was disappointing was the chicken tenders for the kids meal. They were dry and almost in edible… which was surprising because that was one of the things the hostess recommended. My wife also was dissatisfied with the amount of chicken in the tin can. It’s a HUGE portion of fries, but the chicken was scarce. Also had a side of the green chile Mac, it was below average giving pasta salad vibes.
This is a 4 star review, it could be a 5 ⭐️, I would definitely come back and try some other items!

Went today at the recommendation of a coworker and I don’t regret it. The food was phenomenal and the staff was friendly. There were several lunch specials that were reasonably priced. I’d go out of my way to stop here.

This is my regular hangout. Bartender Joey is the absolute best. Food is served fast and is delicious. I love the dry rub wings, the salad, and The pork rinds!!! Shigs is like the well known Cheers bar from the old 80’s show. Lots of familiar faces when you go.

This was my first time visiting Shigs In Pit Barbecue & Brew. The food was okay and the ordering process was simple enough. However, the service left much to be desired—the person behind the counter seemed uninterested and not very engaging. The table we sat at was sticky, which didn’t leave the best impression. It’s not a place I’d rush back to, but I’d go again if someone I was with really wanted to eat there.

Wow! I came here and got the Shig’s Mac Attack and ate it before I could even get a picture! I loved the original BBQ, but I accidentally put some hot BBQ on it and WOAH! I didn’t think spice would go with it, but it really did. If you like spice, add the hot BBQ, if not the original BBQ is delicious. Forgot to try the tangy, but my friend liked it a lot. I took a picture of my mom’s BBQ salad and she loved it. The food was amazing, the service was quick and kind, and the atmosphere was super clean. 10/10, a must visit if you’re in the area.
