Generic food. The side toast was just that, thin white bread toast. No butter or jelly or texas thick bread. I asked for butter and they obliged. The side fries are generic frozen crinkle cut fries. Burger was hand made ground beef patty, grilled bun. That was nice. Catfish was, well catfish, it’s always frozen. The nachos looked handmade. All drinks come in to-go styrofoam cups and there are no free refills on drinks unless they are tea or water. The atmosphere is that of a sports grill. 4 Tvs running different sports. Server only talked to table to order and bring food. They did the same to every table that was here as we ate as well.

Stopped in for lunch with my daughter and grandkids on our way to San Antonio from Corpus. Food was excellent, service was top notch. Food selections for the kiddos was a plenty. This is well worth the visit. We now have Shifters saved as a favorite in the map app.

1st time trying this place. I ordered a cheese burger with cheddar cheese and it was delicious! Real tasty! My daughter ordered chicken sandwich (fried) it was very thin chicken patty but on the bright side it looks homemade, not frozen. The hubby ordered the fish taco special. We started with onion rings appetizer and they were delicious! This place cooks everything as you place the order so the food was fresh and hot! Definitely would come back again.

I’ll start by telling the people, DO NOT waste your time at this place, food is WAY OVER PRICE, the owner doesn’t like for the customers to criticize his food. He was so unprofessional and asked me to leave after I told him his chips were cold and the queso was only 2 spoons full for $9.50. Enter at your own risk lol

I really like the chicken fried steak. The fries as others have mentioned are frozen. I’ve had good luck generally, however, once the fries were warm on the outside but still extremely cold on the inside but this only happened once out of dozens of visits

My wife and I like going food is good the only issue we had for the first time was my wife has service dog in training and the waitress comes to us and says we can have the dog on there and asked for papers but the owner was at home watching on cameras. In my opinion if she has a issue with it come talk to us face to face am not causing any problems just saying tell me to my face so we can work it out am old school I don’t believe in setting at home watching a issue and not addressing it face to face now on a positive note the food was alsome and good works very piled will try to come back mabye if the wife wants to

I ordered a medium rare steak thinking for the price it would be a decent cut of meat and it would actually be grilled. Boy was I wrong, the steak came so overcooked and was obviously put on the flattop with press. Not only that, the steak looked as if it was bought at Walmart like the cheap steaks you can get in a box in the freezer section. I also got mashed potatoes for a side. Like how can you mess up mashed potatoes, wrong again. The potatoes clearly were scooped out and placed on my plate by hand as it looked like they were trying to make some sort of sculpture. Needless to say I didn’t even tempt fate and try them not knowing where their hands have been. On top of this my wife ordered a burger and the bun was so greasy that when she attempted to take a bite all of the insides shot out onto her plate. I usually never write reviews but maybe this can serve as a warning to others that may fall prey to the weird 4+ reviews on google.

Wonderful service and excellent food! The chicken fried steak was perfect, gravy was bit over peppered but good. The mac and cheese was the best I’ve had! Definitely recommend! Thank for the excellent and a friendly experience!
