We had such a wonderful experience at Shibuya Sushi Jax! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The all-you-can-eat sushi & hibachi concept is such a fun idea, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.
We started with sushi appetizers that tasted so light and delicious, then enjoyed hibachi fried rice that was perfectly cooked. From the nugget menu, the broccoli, green beans, and spicy shrimp were all standouts—so tasty and seasoned just right. Dessert was the perfect ending with fresh fruit, along with the fried cheesecake and fried Oreos, which were such a fun and sweet treat.
Not only was the food amazing, but the staff made the whole dining experience even better with their kindness and attentiveness. You can tell they really care about their customers.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great sushi, hibachi, and a memorable dining experience in Jacksonville!

First time visiting. Very inviting atmosphere. Staff was very polite and professional. Good was delicious. Tried Beef Tanaki for the first time and it was amazing. Will definitely go back again.

First time visiting. Initial impression was just okay, nothing drew me in, wowed me with the way the place looked. Food was mediocre, I was expecting what I saw in the video, online. The Shumai was out of a frozen bag, sushi looked like grated or processed seafood, the sushmi was good. They have buffet and u can order alacarte in the menu which is included from the buffet u pay.Service, waitress was good.

Everything was just pretty good. Never did get my ginger dressing salad but after the fried cheesecake there was no room left anyways haha Not a bad value for the price and the staff is nice. I would come back for sure.

This is a great buffet and I DO NOT normally eat at buffets. We came here for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing! The seafood boil was my favorite dish at the buffet. I like how you can order from the kitchen too if you don’t want the items from the buffet area. I had teriyaki salmon, clear soup, fried sushi, rice and vegetables. Everything was so good I can’t wait to go back!

We were really looking forward to trying out this joint. At first the staff was very friendly and the place seemed busy. We sat down and our server explained everything to us which was nice. However, the experience started to drop after that. On 3 different occasions we had to re-order items because the server forgot to put it in, one item we never got even after ordering it twice.
The sushi was room temp and lacked flavor in our opinion. The fried calamari was over cooked. The hot bar was okay.
The best part was the dessert and even that we had to order twice because the ice cream was forgotten.
We will probably not return, the experience was not worth the 35 minute drive.

I got food poisoning the second time I tried this place, and my server was very mean. Do NOT order any rolls with cream cheese, they put way too much. All I could taste was the cream cheese and there was little to no fish. Dumplings were super great though
