The wings are absolutely DELICIOUS! They are not breaded, they are crispy and the house sauce is excellent. The pulled pork is probably one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had out, and recently I had their French Dip sandwich and oh-em-gee… So tender and flavorful. I made sure to take half home so I could enjoy it a second time.

I had the BBQ ribs with french fries and a glass of beer. Food was very good. Restaurant was crowded on a Thursday night in late June. Sherwood’s seems to be a very popular place with the locals. At least 20 tables indoors plus outdoor seating as well. I sat at the bar, with facing four TV screens.

Definitely worth the wait for Monday night wings! Service is great despite of how busy they are (and they get extremely busy which can be frustrating! The food is always good even on nights that aren’t famous wings night. They make a good burger and great options. They also have veggie nachos!

As someone who has enjoyed this establishment on Monday night for the wing special, the cost and expectations were a disappointment. It’s only after I was done eating with my family that included my granddaughters that I found out that I was excluded from the special. The disappointing experience has left me feeling that the inclusion at this establishment is not only unacceptable but with things not being clear I’d rather go to a corporate establishment looking like yard house where it’s no confusing what specials exist and if there are members of my party that create a basis towards said specials.

We walked in and it smelled like moth ball. Restaurant was somewhat full. Bartender didn’t say anything, we kept walking deeper inside until we saw the sign wait to be seated. Server passed by us and didn’t say anything. Still smelled horrible and dirty, we looked at each other and decide not to eat here. That was our experience. Not sure, how people can enjoy their food when place smells like moth balls, very outdated!

The place is great and the staff couldn’t be more hospitable. But we all need to pump the breaks and not over sell the food options here. It’s regular bar food. I’m just going to say it… the food is average at best. But that’s all you really need.

It doesn’t matter how good the food is, if the service is horrible, it ruins the whole experience. Went there at 6 o’clock ordered a salad and a medium rare burger. After a half hour I asked the bartender what was going on and instead of apologizing and saying that they’re busy and he would check on it, his response was, what do you expect on a Saturday night. I replied, I expect a salad in a short period of time, and a medium rare burger in less than a half hour and a polite response. The restaurant wasn’t even that crowded but you could see they had a bunch of takeout orders. In my view, they should prioritize the customers in the restaurant.

Probably the best wings in all of Westchester (sorry Candlelight) I will definitely be visiting here more often! Thanks to a coworker for letting me know about this hidden treasure. Oh let me say the bartender is amazing. I can’t remember his name but he’s very friendly and very fast getting out drinks. My only complaint is I wish they opened earlier than 5pm. Other than that, keep up the great work Sherwood’s!! Update went on 12/15/22 and have to say the bartender tonight was not that great. Just had another visit on 8/23/23 and as usual the food was great but the service not so much. Sat at a table and could have been better when it came to service

The best ribs I had for a very long time. We had to wait about half an hour to get a table. But it was worth waiting. Really good, tender baby back ribs and perfect pulled pork.
