Reviews
So at this visit we came for breakfast. And me and my friends decided we would each share our food. One ordered Loco Moco (which I was kinda hesitant to order), another ordered the All American Croissant French Toast and Chorizo with eggs.
I’m really glad we ordered the Loco Moco because it was tasted amazing especially the gravy with added onions and mushrooms. I wanna say it’s one of the best Loco Moco’s I’ve tasted thus far.
Our servers were friendly. They provided great service with a smile.
Cons: it’s a little confusing to locate Sherry’s Kitchen because it is inside Zio Fraedo’s restaurant. And there is no side to lead you inside. The only way we knew is by reading reviews. But overall experience is 4/5. I wouldn’t mind coming back to try other dishes in the menu.
Pros: good food, great service, and plenty of parking.
We ordered the loco moco with extra gravy, a side of corned beef hash (made from scratch—not from a can!), California eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast. Every bite was spot-on. The coffee cake for dessert sealed the deal—warm, nostalgic, and just sweet enough.
The restaurant has a classic, old-school feel that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff were all genuinely kind and attentive, adding to the welcoming vibe.
If you’re craving comfort food with heart, this place is worth the stop.
The food here can only be described as comfort food for the soul. Delicious? Yes. But also something more…it’s like a familiar hug from a grandma, or a “pick me up” meal from your favorite Tita. The vibe here is comfortable, inviting, and asks you to stay for a while. I highly recommend this gem of a neighborhood restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a quiet, comfortable place to dine.
Staff was very friendly and breakfast was awesome. If I lived near here I would DEFINITELY come back here. Without a doubt!
Oh! The plates and coffee mugs are pretty eclectic. I thought it was a cool touch.
delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting both indoors & outside in the patio. Located inside the iconic Zio Fraedo’s.
Sherry’s has a great hometown feel to it, with warm country decor and a penchant for copper pans.
The servers are nice, albeit sometimes overexcited, and the food is quite tasty. I got to try two of their eggs benedicts (my go-to for restaurant quality) and they were very well done. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was good; with a nice tang. The ‘hashbrowns’ were somewhat bizarre. More like ribbons than shredded. Unfortunately, the food was only warm instead of hot and one of our dishes had to be replaced.
All in all, it was acceptable, and I will be curious to come back for a second look when the staff have settled into stride.
