Very good clean food, ample portions, calm vibe—everything you need after a day of mountain or outdoor adventures. A nice hot chai to warm up cold hands, if you just want a little nip. For meals, the Sherpa Stew is sure to please, as well as the Samosas. Highly pleased, and will come back for more!

After running up and down the mountain all afternoon, the Sherpa Cafe Sherpa Stew was soul fillin on a chilly quiet evening. Peppermint tea and the crispy pakora app very nice as well. Great / fast service at the doorstep of Elk Ave / main street CB

We stopped by Sherpa Cafe for dinner and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious. We ordered shrimp curry, samosas, chicken tikka, and two mango lassis. The food was good and not overly oily like we have had in other Indian/Nepali restaurants in mountain towns, so this was a great surprise.
The naan was incredible. I’ve never had dates naan so I tried it here for the first time. It was so good that I’m borderline drooling typing about it right now.

Stopped in at Sherpa Nepal Cafe while in Crested Butte and ordered the Chicken Curry and Lamb Tikka. Both dishes were decent but nothing particularly standout. The flavors were on the milder side—would’ve preferred a bit more spice and depth, especially for dishes like curry and tikka that usually carry more punch. The chicken and lamb was cooked well. Portion sizes were fair for the price, and service was friendly.
Overall, not a bad meal, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

This place was amazing!! My favorite spot in crested butte now. We got the mango lassi, chai, momo, tikka masala, and the garlic cheese naan. We were so impressed by all of it! Great service, very kind and welcoming. Perfect cozy meal after a day on the mountain!

We ordered:
1. Vegetable Chowmen- looked good but it was tasteless. Alot of tumeric flavour.
2. Vegetable pakoda were great.
3. Dahl: it is a Lentil soup. Was good.
4. Vegetables momos were also good.
Fyi: According to the waitress – even the vegetable Thupka is made using chicken broth.

Hi. We dined at the Sherpa Cafe recently and it is a must-do dining experience if you are in the area. The cuisine is delicious, our local tap beer, ice cold. Waitress staff were attentive, friendly, and punctual. The bright, Nepalese decor shares a cultural experience along with the dinner. Please visit! You will be welcomed as family and leave treated as royalty. Enjoy!

This Nepalese/Indian restaurant exceeded all expectations. The place was spotlessly clean, including a view into the pristine kitchen — a rare and reassuring sight. We were a party of four, sat outside, where the seating was peaceful and music delightful!
The food was 10/10- absolutely perfect and delicious. The freshly baked Garlic Naan was outstanding — soft, warm, and full of flavor. We also had the Chana Masala, Saag, and Veggie Korma as appetizers — all superb, freshly prepared, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.
Add in a super friendly service by the owner and his employee and a relaxed atmosphere, and we’ll definitely return to. Very highly recommended!

We ordered momo dumplings and chowmein. The momo was tasteless. I felt like i was just chewing rubber. The sauce just tasted like blended raw tomatoes and spicy sauce tasted like i was drinking blended raw green chilli pepper. Chowmein was not good either. It was just thukpa without soup. I would not call it chowmein. I had high hopes seeing such great reviews but was extremely disappointed. It felt like it was just waste of money.

A great place in CB for Nepalese/Indian food. The garlic naan is wonderful and the dishes have authentic flavor and clear quality. This is a little off of Main (Elk) street and we found it a little less crowded than those on Main. This is a favorite of several restaurants in CB and we always dine here a couple times on our visits.
