This restaurant was surprisingly exceptionally excellent! We started with the Dolmeh and Samosa for an appetizer…this was my first time at a Persian restaurant and let me tell you the flavors of these appetizers were so good! Then we got the Greek salad which was also out of this world! Then the Boneless Chicken Shish Kabob plate which had the most tender flavorful chicken I have ever had in my life! I will definitely be coming back- highly recommend!!!!

I went there this past weekend for the first time. It’s a cute small restaurant. They have a very good menu and the food was delicious. We ordered Soltani and Ghemeh stew. The only reason I give them 4 is because the rice portion was small and they did not bring any appetizers (sabzi, cheese, bread). Most Persian restaurant usually bring a small appetizer and the rice portion is good. However we still had kabob and stew but we were out of rice. The prices were reasonable too. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant and would go back.

At one point the owner brought us some of their “Ashe Reshteh”, which was absolutely delicious.

Love working with Shahram Tehrani the owner of Shemroon Restaurant for the catering of our wedding! He carries a good vibe, with a great soul, and we really admire his character.

My friends who live in the area suggested this restaurant and I am glad we went there. I ordered Soltani and was perfect. The barg kabob was well cooked and the koobideh was juicy. By the way, don’t miss the tahdig if you choose Shemroon.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, and the service is outstanding – the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. And the food! Oh my goodness, the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. I highly recommend the kabobs, which are tender and perfectly seasoned. And don’t even get me started on the bread – it’s so soft and fluffy, and served warm from the oven. Simply put, Shemron is a hidden gem that you must visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Good thing about living in OC is, there are lot of good choices for Persian Restaurants available. This one seems to be pretty new, I ordered the bone in Chicken kabab and it was delicious and tasteful, rice was also very well made. I like the presentation in those traditional Persian style large “Rouhi” dishes, feels closer to home to me.
I was stunned by all those oil paintings on the wall, the owner mentioned all of them are original. Beautiful setup and ambience, definitely love to come back.
