Came in today to eat with a friend, i was greeted by the same lady that always seats every customer that comes in. I said hello to the employee and she did not speak to me. Me and my friend were sat next to another lady in a corner close to the bar. Upon being seated i asked the employee how she was doing and i was rudely ignored. So i tried to say it again thinking she may have not heard me after a second time of no response i realized she was ignoring me. She took our orders with little to no words on confirming if she had our orders correct (our order was wrong). We then waited about 7 mins and all of our food came out at once. The clam chowder was good but when it came down to the overpriced seafood bag it was almost as if the food was already made or just thrown together. The corn on the cob wasn’t properly cooked. The crawfish was EXTREMELY dry. The boiled eggs were overpriced and quite disgusting. While we were eating we notice a couple come into the place to eat as well. They were greeted by the same woman who greeted us only this time she had a great smile. She seated them and constantly made sure she went back to their table to check on them and to make sure they didnt need anything else meanwhile she never came back to our table to check on us to see if we needed anything. (Which we did) we needed to correct our order. I am currently in the restaurant typing this review. I am still seated and i have yet to be helped with my order. This is now my 3rd time here with the same experience. I will not come back as i now know i have been racially profiled everytime. If you made it this far you have now read that ShellShock discriminates against brown colored people. Originally i wanted to add that i am a black woman but i didnt want my message to be looked over. Please dont expect the best service from this place if you are black.

I’ve only been here one time, but everything was good. We ordered the fried calamari, gumbo with white rice, and the fried soft shell crab with Cajun fries. The waitress was friendly and made sure to check on us often. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was like being on a boat or pier. I will definitely be going back for another visit.

We came few minutes before they open. We were their first customers so the place was empty.
I liked how they took their time to decorate the restaurant. The place is nice, bright, and clean. The server was also really nice.
For Combo Deals, you can pick and choose which seafood you wanted, what sauce, and how spicy you wanted it to be. We ordered Combo #3, with Crab + 3 orders of shrimp + Snow crab, with the House special sauce, medium spicy. It was really good especially with lemon! Must try!
Wait time is bit long but, it was worth the wait. You know that it was freshly cooked. While waiting, we also ordered Garlic Bread and Cajun Fries which disappeared so fast, i felt like we inhaled them jk! But they also tasted really good since they were still hot and freshly cooked.
Would definitely recommend! We’ll be back again

It was good however, It was not much food for the price GRANT IT… the price of shellfish is expensive. But when you are getting an item that feeds 4 people, at least have 4 corn on the cobs in the bag. We had to pick and choose who gets what on a couple of items in the bag. Needs a bit of consistency.

We ordered garlic noodles, Cajun garlic fries, and combo 1 with house special sauce medium spice. Delicious flavor! The sauce was pretty thick compared to other seafood boil spots and still very tasty.
The combo came with 3 pounds so we choice clams, shrimp with head off and shrimp with head on.
We enjoyed everything that came with the meal and would come back. For 2 people it came out to about $100 but we had left over for 2 more meals!

Great M-F 3-6 Happy Hour $4 beer 6 oyster $12 (They do NOT sell oystersvby the piece exterior signage misleading “$2 ea.” only 6 or 12).
Had the soft crab fry basket 3 times now. Crab is always tender … never chewy it will keep me coming back for more about 1 x a month.

I don’t agree with all the high ratings. We had raw oysters, gumbo and fried catfish. The oysters were rubbery, they were out of horseradish. The gumbo was very skimpy on the seafood, too much rice. We found one morsel of shrimp. Not sure if it was old oil or the catfish was old but it had a metallic taste. Staff are friendly and service was prompt. Sweet potato fries were good.

Soft shell crab w/ garlic cajun fries and GARLIC noodles. This was a complete win-win for my taste buds. The crab tasted good and the GARLIC noodles were heavenly . If you are a fan of GARLIC, then I strongly recommend that dish.

Food is fire.. we got combo 1… the sauce is good.. Service is pretty bad.. Lady was very un-attentive. Plus we said hello, please n thanks.. and she very nonchalant… maby bad day.. but food is fire. Will be back for the crab..✌

Service bucks the women were kinda rude, the sausage is horrible the shrimp and whole shebang sauce is 7/10. Also the food is VERY expensive here $40 plus for shrimp head on, sausage, potatoes, and corn and 20 dollar for bowl of garlic noodles literally 60 dollars for 1 meal for a person SMH
