I ordered a pineapple upside cake for a Birthday, a favorite of the one I got it for.
I was so excited to gift this cake, $40 cake it would be thick, sweet and worth the money.. WRONG..
The cake was like a pancake, it was small & very think, it was yellow cake, pineapple and cherries, no drizzle or caramel…
Ok don’t stress I know it will taste great so the size doesn’t matter, WRONG…
The pancake was dry and had NO flavor NONE….
When I got home the package had broke into 3 pieces so it wasn’t pretty, I contacted and was told that’s normal all though it isn’t if its made right..
Can also get past looks for great taste, unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
I don’t recommend getting a cake here, luckily RICKS Bakery had a beautiful cake and it was moist, they saved the Birthday….

Posting a bit late, but I bought a Shelby Lynn cake last year for my birthday and it was one of the most beautiful cakes I’ve ever received. I chose the marble cake and cream cheese frosting and it was so decadent. For the decorations I sent an inspiration photo and requested an Monet-type impressionist art style, and they delivered better than I could have ever imagined! Only caveat was I only had about 25 people to serve and ordered a 9″ for just over $100- could have gone with half the size for sure!

They provided the cake portion of the idea my daughter had for her wedding cake! It turned out beautiful and even better than I thought that it would. They provided some insight so that I could make the cupcake tower strong enough to hold the cake! It was so yummy and delicious!

We had our wedding cake done by Shelby Lynns Cake and it was hands-down one of the best parts of the day. The whole process from start to finish was easy and fun, and the cake itself (with 5 flavors!) was delicious. Our one-year keepsake cake is going to be lucky if it makes it that long without us eating it. Jennifer is truly an artist, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best (and most delicious) sweet treat for their wedding! Thank you for everything!

If I could give this bakery an endless amount of stars, I would! My daughter just moved to the area from FL, her birthday was soon after her move and I wanted her to have her traditional Pumpkin shaped birthday cake. I called from FL hoping (but with little expectation) to achieve this with such short notice (2days)! The delightful person who answered the phone was so kind, helpful and to my gleeful surprise, said “YES” they could do this as well as deliver the cake to her once she arrived home from work! My daughter called me shocked and crying with joy and gratitude that SL’s went above and beyond for her (and myself)! The cake came out awesome! I wish I could have had a piece with her, she said it was delicious! THANK YOU SL’s for making this special day even more amazing for my sweet girl!

I ordered 3 cakes for a graduation and they were all amazing. We received so many compliments on the amazing flavor of the cakes (3 different flavors). And the design of two of them were so realistic people actually thought they were shoe boxes until we started cutting into them. Very happy with our experience. Will be coming back here for a wedding cake in a few months.

My husband and I used Shelby Lynns for our wedding and had so many complements on our cake! Their take home cake tester box is awesome! Would recommend the marble cake with mocha icing!
