I love me some good Persian food. Add a beautiful establishment and a tantalizing menu and I’m so there. In town with my family (husband and 2 elementary age kids) and I zeroed in this spot super quick. Armin, the manager, is a gem: kind, friendly, outgoing, personable, generous and in charge. He was very very kind with my children, taking an interest in engaging with them and us.
The food didn’t disappoint. We are not Persian btw, but my daughter ordered falafel for the first time and she loved it. The bbq chicken wrap, hummus veggie wrap and beef wrap were delicious. The fries are perfection. Everyone in my family were happy and satisfied. This place should be busier for lunch on a Saturday. Don’t let the 15 min walk from Pico and Figueroa discourage anyone, if anything you’ll work up an appetite. The ingredients are fresh and it’s noticeable. They have a nice bar area. Both booths and regular tables. I highly recommend to any and all.

My parents favorite place to stop by and eat when we are in the middle of LA. We always get the same thing idk what it is called but it’s like grilled chicken, yellow rice with white rice and the bread is so thin it’s delicious with butter. The cucumber yogurt is delicious and fresh.

Absolutely outstanding. The Sultani was hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The quality and care in the food really shines through. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Persian cuisine

We thought we were coming to Sadie’s Pizzeria but realised on arrival it’s part of Shekarchi. Quickly greeted on entry, we joined our friends already seated at the table with menus. We all ordered our respective pizzas and drinks, which had a choice of different bases including cauliflower. Intrigued, a few of us chose this option.

The pizzas all had thin bases. My Mediterranean was crunchy on the edges but soft and gooey in the middle from the melted cheese. I really like the briny olives and tangy tomato flavours combined. The cauliflower base has a mild taste and unique texture. My colleagues enjoyed their respective choices and the rating reflects our collective judgment.

There were few diners when we were there but the restaurant has capacity for big celebrations with many seats and a small dance floor. Service was attentive at the table but they would only split payments across 2 cards. This was awkward for the 5 of us afterwards. Conclusion: good pizzas in an exotic place offering Mediterranean fare. We would return if in the area, but not go out of our way to revisit.

Fantastic Food and Great Service!
We eat at this Restaurant, and we were very impressed! The koobideh was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Ghormeh Sabzi was delicious with a rich, authentic taste that reminded me of home. And I have to mention the tahdig—crispy, golden, and simply amazing. The portions were generous, and the service was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Persian cuisine!

This place was incredible! Lets just start there

My baby girl and I had a last minute date night.. we stopped for some wine down the street and wanted a nice dinner. She found this place and I was too hype she did. Incredible ambiance
-soothing music
-creative artwork
-attentive wait staff

Everyone was helpful and looked to help us with any of our needs.

Now to the food..
we ordered the branzino & the grilled salmon both had incredible flavor. They were served with dill rice and a flavorful Shirazi. I couldn’t stop smelling the food each item was so aromatic.

The hummus even the pita bread.. everything was exactly how I’d want it to be and I can’t wait to go back

Do yourself a favor and make a last minute trip or planned one.. you won’t be disappointed

Our experience at Shekarchi Bar & Grill was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, the host told us our table would be ready right away but that he just needed to clean it first. Instead of doing that, he walked around chatting socially with other guests, not serving them, just talking. After waiting for a while, we had to ask another staff member to clear the table for us.

It then took a very long time before anyone brought menus or took our drink and food orders. When the food finally arrived, we realized that none of us had been given a fork. Since the waiters were impossible to get in contact with, we looked around ourselves and eventually had to go all the way to the kitchen to ask for cutlery.

The food itself was just okay at best. The plate consisted of about 80% rice and a mediocre salad, with very little meat, definitely not acceptable for a $30 dish.

Every restaurant can have a bad day, but if that was the case here, it wasn’t just a bad day. It was a complete collapse in service.
