The food didn’t disappoint. We are not Persian btw, but my daughter ordered falafel for the first time and she loved it. The bbq chicken wrap, hummus veggie wrap and beef wrap were delicious. The fries are perfection. Everyone in my family were happy and satisfied. This place should be busier for lunch on a Saturday. Don’t let the 15 min walk from Pico and Figueroa discourage anyone, if anything you’ll work up an appetite. The ingredients are fresh and it’s noticeable. They have a nice bar area. Both booths and regular tables. I highly recommend to any and all.
The pizzas all had thin bases. My Mediterranean was crunchy on the edges but soft and gooey in the middle from the melted cheese. I really like the briny olives and tangy tomato flavours combined. The cauliflower base has a mild taste and unique texture. My colleagues enjoyed their respective choices and the rating reflects our collective judgment.
There were few diners when we were there but the restaurant has capacity for big celebrations with many seats and a small dance floor. Service was attentive at the table but they would only split payments across 2 cards. This was awkward for the 5 of us afterwards. Conclusion: good pizzas in an exotic place offering Mediterranean fare. We would return if in the area, but not go out of our way to revisit.
Will definitely come back again.
Armin took care of our party perfectly, he’s been kind and we felt we knew him for a long time.
We eat at this Restaurant, and we were very impressed! The koobideh was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Ghormeh Sabzi was delicious with a rich, authentic taste that reminded me of home. And I have to mention the tahdig—crispy, golden, and simply amazing. The portions were generous, and the service was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Persian cuisine!
My baby girl and I had a last minute date night.. we stopped for some wine down the street and wanted a nice dinner. She found this place and I was too hype she did. Incredible ambiance
-soothing music
-creative artwork
-attentive wait staff
Everyone was helpful and looked to help us with any of our needs.
Now to the food..
we ordered the branzino & the grilled salmon both had incredible flavor. They were served with dill rice and a flavorful Shirazi. I couldn’t stop smelling the food each item was so aromatic.
The hummus even the pita bread.. everything was exactly how I’d want it to be and I can’t wait to go back
Do yourself a favor and make a last minute trip or planned one.. you won’t be disappointed
It then took a very long time before anyone brought menus or took our drink and food orders. When the food finally arrived, we realized that none of us had been given a fork. Since the waiters were impossible to get in contact with, we looked around ourselves and eventually had to go all the way to the kitchen to ask for cutlery.
The food itself was just okay at best. The plate consisted of about 80% rice and a mediocre salad, with very little meat, definitely not acceptable for a $30 dish.
Every restaurant can have a bad day, but if that was the case here, it wasn’t just a bad day. It was a complete collapse in service.
