My friend and I stopped by Shiba Restaurant last October for an early meal. Because we arrived so early, the restaurant was quiet and almost empty, which made for a peaceful atmosphere. The service was very good, and the staff was attentive. The food tasted great, though it was served a little cold. Overall, we had a nice time and would visit again

Very disappointed. I’ve been here several times and it used to be good, but this visit was shocking. Our table had mismatched chairs with peeling cushions, which we tried to ignore. Then the water glasses arrived filthy—impossible to miss. When we asked for clean ones, the server seemed annoyed and brought replacements that were still dirty. We left without ordering.

Saleem is the best waiter! He’s so welcoming and attentive, and his food recommendations were spot on. I loved every single plate, the bone broth soup, the salad dressing, Hasfa with fresh bread, the haneeth rice with lamb chunks, and the royal date dessert with Adani tea after was the perfect finish. Highly recommend!

We ordered take out the other night and got the Sheeba for 2 with galabah and soup, and tanoor and garlic sauce on the side. All the food was amazing and still tasted fresh when we got back. The serving size was more than enough for two people. We had to wait about 10mins more than the stated pick up time which was fine. Overall, would definitely recommend this place. The food alone is worth multiple trips here.

Their online service is a disappointment. The orders sometimes come missing important items like extra bread. If an integral part of the meal is missing, the whole meal is ruined. Also, their POS system does not provide partial refunds, according to them, so if something is missing, you’re out of luck. When you call to address a grievance, they insult you with childish excuses for the bad service, and suggest you show up in person to resolve the problem. Their service is a great demonstration of how second generation businesses fail.
