First of all to begin with I just recently started patronizing this place and I like the vibe I like the owner she’s awesome. She greets you and she compliments you. That’s a good thing people like that when they enter establishments you want that rockstar treatment. Also, today was not too happy. The last time I came was not too happy with my food. The fish was overcooked. I mean hard a little bit dried out no seasoning at all the cabbage I don’t know if it was from yesterday and can we just not serve rice with the meal rice just does not go well for the African-American community. I had 3 huge pieces of fish but only ate one and half of it.

The food is amazing! Desserts too!! I had the baked chicken (fall off the bone) came with rice and I had collard greens n mac n cheese. The pineapple cream cheese cake was the best cake I ever had! This food reminds me of my mom’s Sunday dinners. I had whiting fish a few days later with yams and green beans and again excellent!! Service great too! Thank you!

I went to this place yesterday. I was a little bit skeptical. But as soon as I got the food the food looks amazing and smell so good. I knew then it was love at first sight. I told all my friends about this place. As I type this review I’m getting ready to go back again for more. I’m bringing my friend and I’m bringing a plate home for my son also. I had the turkey wings over rice and gravy with yams and collard greens. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious!! Thank you for making my dining out experience exceptional!!

the food was a bit in the expensive side ($18 for a meat & 2 sides for my orders), but the portions were large and worth every penny. so i guess it wasn’t actually that costly! the service was excellent and the staff answered questions i had about the menu. i will definitely be back.

Everything was excellent. They called about problem with a previous meal and offered to make it right. They did that and then some. The kids love, love, Love the Mac and cheese, rice, cornbread, and chicken. Turkey wings were on point. Hats off to the chef and servers today!!

Came here on a whim with the wife, trying to steal time together before picking up our daughter from soccer. Well worth it. Large heaping servings of food. It was fresh, hot, & seasoned as of the entire meal was a vibe. This is the veggie plate for $12. We sat on there patio listening to the smooth RnB playlist. Perfection on top of genuine customer service.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with my food overall. Nothing was worth returning for. Ordered chicken gizzards for my husband and catfish nuggets for me. Both of ours was salty and overcooked. The catfish nuggets were chopped into morsels, way too small. The greens tasted like canned greens and chickfilA got better Mac n cheese. It was a total waste of money. Sorry

My first visit, it was busy customer service was okay I tried the lunch special just to get a feel of the food, I ordered pork chop sandwich with Mac and got some coleslaw Mac was good coleslaw was okay but instead of pork chop sandwich I got a rib sandwich which would of been cool if they where out of pork chops but to get the rib sandwich it wasn’t cooked all the it was very tough and pink I couldn’t even enjoy the meat. Not knocking them but me being a first timer I wasn’t happy with my main entree which was my sandwich smh
