We love Nettie’s! Perfect for taking the kids for a sweet treat and relaxed outside play on a summer day. Ideal quick stop for a fresh loaf of hearty sourdough. Clean. Well kept. Easy to access. Their team is always kind and helpful. The food is always fresh and delicious.

Was heading to Hamptons for a friends birthday and found their cakes online. Got the naked cake with Bavarian crème inside. Was absolutely delicious. The cake was HUGE and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I have followed Bettie’s Country Bakery for a few years and finally was in their area on Thanksgiving Eve. I got 2 cheese Danish and 2 Orange Cranberry Scones. Both were really good. The person who finally waited on me was so nice and helpful. They are kind of pricey. I will definitely go back.

I don’t get the hype. I bought a Yule Log Cake on Christmas Eve morning. Opened it that night and it was stale. I couldn’t believe it. The two ends were very hard and inside was stale. Was embarrassed to serve it to my guests. No one ate it. Will go elsewhere next time.

Netties is absolutely comforting! All their baked goods are heartwarming. Everyone is so helpful and friendly! They offer ample seating arrangements both indoors and outdoors. It’s one of my favorite places to visit – the music they play is mellow, and I love hanging out on the rocking chair, sipping a cold brew, while enjoying an apple strudel.

My favorite cakes are the Naked cake and strawberry shortcake. Be sure to take advantage of their delicious slices.

I adore the donuts, apple strudels, and pies. OMG, the peach cobbler and blueberry pie are to die for. Try a bit of everything (Don’t be shy)!

Simply amazing!! My kids and I thought Nettie’s closed years ago when they moved out of their previous location on Montauk Hwy.. We just found out they relocated to an adorable little farm on Railroad Ave, just outside of Center Moriches.. Today was our first visit to the new shop and it could not have been a better experience.. The location is awesome, the staff was beyond pleasant, and their selection of pastries and baked goods is nothing short of stellar!! Everything we ate was fresh, crafted to perfection and absolutely delicious.. We chose to eat outside at one of several picnic tables, shaded from the sun and nestled next to the fabulously landscaped running waterfall.. Both of my children thought the entire experience was magical and cannot wait to visit again.. If you’re in the area and you’ve got a sweet tooth, or you’re in the market for some fresh baked bread or a perfect cup of coffee, do yourself a favor and give Nettie’s a try.. You will most likely become a regular!!

A nice little cottage bakery with some great landscape spots to sit and enjoy. Fresh, homemade bakery goods. Delicious, worth the trip.

Went back today to try some Apple pie and scones and cinnamon buns. Best bakery around. Great staff! Beautiful grounds. Tell ’em Barsnobs sent ya!

There is a wonderful selection of baked goods and treats for young and old to be found here at Nettie’s Country Bakery. I found this venue through the Suffolk Bike Riders Association which is an important and convenient rest stop for us. Their prices are higher than what is found in supermarket bakery departments. However, the quality of baked goods is superior at Nettie’s because this is their business and their main focus. Their ingredients are high quality and the flavor and presentation are top notch.
However, if I were to have a short notice dinner party and a view of money being plentiful like rocks on a beach, then supplying my dining room table with Nettie’s products would be both practical and very desirable yet a direct hit on the “piggy bank”.
The down side is they are eighteen miles from my home. They are not next to my butcher as when I was a child. The butcher, baker, and candlestick maker have been replaced with Yuppie Consumerism, supermarkets, and Michael’s crafts depot for your birthday candles.
Should you wish to have more of Netties cupcakes the next morning, but the guests pigged out and devoured them all, there is a simple solution. You slip out of the house before the kids catch on to your scheme and head straight to their store (if you have a helicopter) or drive via Montauk Highway if you travel like a mere mortal. There is ample parking to be found in their dirt, pothole-ridden lot out front.
Sit under the roof on the porch (watch your head!) or at a table with an umbrella and enjoy coffee or cold beverages. Visit the chickens and say “hello”! Be sure to bring the kids on your second trip and give them a four dollar max spend and one minute each to decide..or you will be there an hour…maybe. Usually peer pressure from people on line behind will cause you to buy anything without careful planning. Their presence will make you capitulate to a one minute survey/purchase.

I went two Saturdays in a row. for a total of seventy-two miles on my Trek. Yes, they are worth a second visit for the outdoor seating and chickens alone.

This is for anyone over thirty. You should know that you may purchase by the dozen the cookies, donuts, whatever. I asked and was told there is NO PRICE BREAK if you were to spend two thousand dollars for your wedding reception. In other words, their customer base are people who:
1. Are in debt and cannot manage their money, so what the heck, we don’t want to seem broke and will not ask the cashier girls to put the goodies back in the display case. There are zero displayed prices and they know you will not “out” yourself as a Mom on food stamps. Mom will not return with her four kids though.
2. People who could make better goods, but not as museum-quality-pretty as Netties with their cute mini boxes/goodies-shelter-and- transport-device for your own personal cupcake. Two dollars each, times twenty kids for a birthday party plus paper plates, cups, punch…you get the idea. Fifty dollars for three year olds who care not one iota about perfect icing. Doctor Moms will say it is more convenient than getting the kitchen dirty and the time it takes to look up recipes online plus YouTube videos on “How To Turn On An Oven”.
This mirthful, sarcastic profile of American excess on Long Island has been brought to you buy a world traveler who knows better. German bakeries are superior to Netties. Hope you find this amusing or not. I will never know.
It has been revealed to me there is a Franks Bakery on Montauk Highway nearby, but that business may not have a lovely and comfortable seating area with chickens in a cage. You might find Napoleons, crullers, black and white cookies, and jelly donuts there. Netties has only jelly donuts of the four aforementioned items.
