Shaw’s steakhouse was a recommendation from a work colleague and it was amazing. The tri-tip special was more food than I could eat, but it was delicious. Relish app was interesting and tasty. Crackers with butter and tomato salsa was also surprisingly tasty. The staff was friendly.

I ordered the “Cowboy Cut” ribeye cooked medium. Was very impressed that the steak was a perfect medium. I also ordered the pork ribs. Dipped in their chipolte bbq sauce is a must. The bread pudding is am zing! Our server, Teena, was supurb-prompt, professional, knowledgeable about the menu and had a comical edge that made us really like her. I still prefer Jocko’s ribeye to Shaw’s, but the over-all experience was heaven. I’ll be back!

Best in town. Came here on business over ten years ago and the memory stuck. Sure enough, everything was fabulous! Great food, great staff, and good prices. Highly recommend. Make reservations if you can, otherwise wait in the bar until your table is ready

In all honesty, majority of the food are terribly bland. Price are fair I guess but the food, lacks flavor. Alcohol are over priced. For Shots that is. Gave this place a few chances and it just blows.

We were told we needed to go here for a Santa Maria Tri-tip experience. We loved the hometown feel, the nice atmosphere, our waitress, Bridgette was awesome and explained the salsa and crackers thing…lol. We got the tri-tip and linguica special and wow, we were pleasantly surprised. We are taking home as much as we ate. Portions are huge! Delicious beans, bread and salad as well. Great place!

Shaw’s was great! Their Tomato Basil Soup was excellent. It tasted like a mix of tomato and chili, very tasteful. Their baked beans were also very good. Had a meaty taste to them. Let’s get to the steak. The steak was great, my only complaint is that it tasted a bit smokey, and that took a bit away from enjoying the steak to its fullest. The service was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and I would definitely go back.
