Today my mom and I decided to try Shawarma Lebanese Restaurant. My mom has eaten here before and said it was a pretty decent shawarma spot, so we ordered six shawarmas—five chicken and two beef/lamb. I was hoping they had a lamb-only option, but most places don’t, so I stuck with chicken.
The woman at the register was very sweet, and she took our order perfectly. Service was quick, and we asked for extra pickles, extra turnips, spicy sauce, and garlic sauce on the side. My mom was disappointed with her wrap because she felt it didn’t have enough meat. We also added french fries inside all the shawarmas.
I didn’t try the beef/lamb ones, but here’s my review of the chicken shawarma:
They definitely added a lot of pickles like I asked, and the fries were a nice touch. However, the chicken shawarma had a strange smell and taste. It was dry, and every bite had this odd combination of fishy and grilled flavors that made it hard for me to continue eating. I couldn’t finish it because both the smell and taste were off.
On a better note, I did try their desserts. I ordered one piece of kanafa, and it was very sweet and tasty my only critique is that I wish it were a bit crispier. We also tried another dessert, a white dough pastry filled with sweet filling and topped with pistachios. It was good, but extremely sweet, and not something I personally loved. Also, $10 for one small piece of kanafa feels very pricey.
Overall, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was incredibly nice. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t work for me, so I don’t think I would return.

The service + the mediterranean food were both amazing and also the servers Genesis & Susie did a great job by their great attitude. I think that if every restaurant has servers like these girls, there wont be any compains and people leave with a smiley face I highly recommend this place for the GREAT food and GREAT service

What I like about this place is their unique presentation of their foods, it sets them apart from their competitors. The service was pleasant. The timing for seating and for our served foods was very good, and the food was delicious and the service was very pleasant. I also would like to add the experience for the other location, located University Dr. Both locations have the same pleasant and delicious foods and service. Family ownded restaurants.

This place was incredibly nice, and their kebabs and Shawarma were absolutely amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there. They also have a wide variety of Kunafa desserts and plenty of kebabs to choose from.

Simple delicious. AUTHENTIC Lebanese dining. You can feel the prayers and love in the food. Chef’s kiss. Mike bring one to North FL, Jax and Tallahassee. I just so happened to stumble across it and was super pleased. I’ve lived in the Middle East and this took me home. Blessings up HABIBI you’ve blessed me today with your hospitality and great staff. #foodie #lebanese #tenstars.

First time trying shawarma and it felt like the flavor lacked. Thought the pieces would be bigger and preferred the chicken over the beef. The hummus wasn’t creamy at all more grainy. It also took the waitress a while to come back so we can pay to leave and the music was too loud to the point I couldn’t hear the person across from me talking

I went to eat with my family and the experience was amazing. The service is outstanding—the staff is very attentive and always checking to make sure you have everything you need. The food is a 10/10; the shawarmas are my favorite, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely worth it!

I love pita and Mediterranean food — it’s usually simple, fresh, and honestly hard to mess up. Normally places like this are a guaranteed win.
But not this time.
Instead of a proper pita, I got a very small and very dry sandwich, and the fries were overcooked.
The service was great, no complaints at all — the girl working there was nice and friendly.
But the food? 3 out of 5 at best.
