We tried the Classic Plate, Salmon Plate, and Syrniki.
The plates are big and tasty, everything is really fresh, and I’ve never had Syrniki this delicious ❤️❤️
The prices are pleasant, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
So. So. So. juicy — and crispy too.
The chicken shawarma at Shawarma Stop is absolutely unreal. The chicken is perfectly marinated, insanely juicy on the inside with crispy, golden edges that give it amazing texture. Every bite is packed with bold, authentic shawarma flavor. Zero dryness.
It’s wrapped in soft, fresh lavash (not pita), which makes a huge difference. The lavash holds everything together perfectly without overpowering the chicken, and it gets slightly crisp on the outside while staying soft inside.
The garlic sauce is next level—creamy, rich, and addictive. Combined with the fresh veggies and generous portions, this shawarma is beyond satisfying. You definitely get your money’s worth.
Service is fast and friendly, the food comes out hot, and the place is clean and welcoming. Whether you’re eating in or taking it to go, the quality stays top-notch.
If you’re looking for crispy, insanely juicy chicken shawarma wrapped in lavash, Shawarma Stop is a must. Easy 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back.
The sauce, meat, and salads are all super tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back! The girl at the register was very pleasant, and the guy preparing the food was also really friendly. The place is clean and well-kept. Such a great spot!
I’d also like to mention the fries — they were really great and perfectly salted. My son loved them.
Everything was prepared and packed very neatly. The staff was very friendly.
Thank you! We will definitely come back again ❤️
We ordered both the chicken and the beef Shawrma sandwiches with the trimmings and the sauce. Me being a sauce and extra sauce lover, I felt that there was a lot more sauce than I would have liked. Next time I will order the sauce on the side so I can control the portion.
They use halal meats and the shawarma is made on the premises by the chef.
These are good size sandwiches and could easily qualify for a dinner sandwich. Ingredients are simple with salad trimmings and special in-house sauce. They offer many different flavored sauces depending on your taste.
They also have a very nice selection of deserts in a case. We tried the mini cream puffs which were excellent. All these deserts are freshly made daily!
If you like dining in, they have a nice dining area that can accommodate an intimate get together to a large family setting.
In addition, we ordered the coleslaw salad, which was enjoyable. I did find it had a touch too much dressing for my preference, so a lighter mix with vegetable oil and vinegar could enhance the overall flavors nicely. Just a friendly suggestion for improvement!
I also appreciated the variety of desserts they offered, such as profiteroles, eclairs, and honey cake. It might be lovely to see Napoleon cake added to the menu in the future, as it would be a great addition!
On another note, they did run out of chicken noodle soup and kompot due to high customer demand, which is completely understandable but a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’m looking forward to my next visit!
I did read other reviews that raved about the generous portions of meat and a different type of wrap used, instead of the tradition Pita or Tortilla, w a side of fries and coleslaw.
The portion size was moderate at best. Far from being generous w the meat. It was the typical shawarma I’ve had before, a scoop, or two of meat and loaded w the usual suspects of filling, slaw, tomato, pickles’, and a very good garlic aioli.
The flavor was lacking in tradition shawarma flavors. No spices were very apparent. I didn’t taste any coriander, cardamon or clove. It was mildly seasoned chopped chicken.
As for the wrap, and mainly bc I’m more conscious of carbs. This was a huge carb heavy wrap. It was too large in comparison to the modest filling. Its was folded over and put on a panini press.
However, the one item that I’m still raving about was, the Coleslaw. I’ve reviewed many restaurants and had my share of coleslaw, but this was one of the best. Not too heavy on the mayo or vinegar which let the blend of vegetables shine as the perfect side dish. I would travel just for the coleslaw. As for the fries, they were thin and overcooked, maybe a 3.
