My breakfast this morning was two eggs. Sunny side up, hash browns, bacon, rye toast, over a tea
Everything arrived exactly as I expected it. And delicious! .
Service was mostly good. Could have checked on our table with greater regularity than she did this This morning. But in the end all was good
Tables by the window tend to get a lot of use. And both of the empty open tables next to the windows definitely needed to be cleaned. Especially the one that we wanted to sit at today. But when your server is also busting the tables, it makes the task a little more difficult to accomplish in a timely manner.
Once seated, The view at the table was a beautiful view of the golf course. Course. It’s one of the reasons I eat here.
Good price for breakfast in the area since it was only $18 before the tip.
Billion dollar view with a warm crew too.
A great way to enjoy a lazy Sunday breakfast
I totally recommend Sharp Park Restaurant for a weekend breakfast or lunch.
You figure the service would be better as I’m the only food customer. No. The waitress was talking to some customers at the bar most of the time. My water didn’t arrive until after my food after I asked for it again. Regardless, she is a long time employee and I’ll cut her some slack. Most of the time, she knows what I will order before I say it. I didn’t see her elementary school aged daughter hanging out tonight. Sometimes she will wait on tables for her mom, bringing water, extra napkins etc. That’s so cute.
Original review: Sharp Park Restaurant feels like a relic from the 60’s. This is the first time I’ve seen soft plastic covers on top of white table clothes. My prime rib $31came with a baked potato, streamed vegetable and a choice of soup or salad. I should have picked soup because they had clam chowder or split pea soup today. The prime rib is a couple of notches below HOPR or Broadway prime. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy it. It came with a little thingy of au jus and horseradish. The meat towards the middle will need it. Service was anemic. There was only one lady working the entire restaurant by herself handling both go-to and in house orders. I didn’t get water refills or a menu when I walked in. That’s OK, I knew what I wanted. Good job everyone at Sharp Park Restaurant.
Mac Cheese is soggy & reheated
Baked potato legit
Drinks strong
Desserts old and ruined my whole night.
Service gets by but only by a smidge ✅
Venue is the saddest place in America
disclaimer: I’m comparing this prime rib to Joe’s & Shari’s, potato to everywhere, and service to a drive thru… also, I’ve been coming here since 1992.
BUT the prime rib is excellent (med rare) and the chef made it perfect. Came with soup or salad. The soup wasn’t as thick per my friend. Salad is a simple garden salad ( not bad). Bread was always hot. The price nowadays can’t beat. $27.99
Overall satisfied.
The vibe is a Time Machine into the past.
Would come here again.
