We sat at the bar, which is where we normally choose to sit. We were greeted immediately by the bartender. I taste tested the two red wine options, neither of which was good, so I ordered a whiskey sour. It was a mix, but passable. My husband had a Blue Moon. Our order for garlic cheese curds was taken in a very timely fashion and brought out quickly. They were good. We both ordered a different type of burger and are waiting for them to arrive. Will update if there is anything significant to report. We live a pretty long distance from here, so it is doubtful we return, but we might give it another chance if in this area.

They only had one server/cashier but it was understandable because it was a slow day and plus the holiday weekend. Food was great, this is my first time ordering from here. Also my first time eating my burger without ketchup and mustard and yes that’s how good my burger was.

They had promotional free drinks (see photo) that were impossible to redeem. And I left feeling a little swindled, without my free tea. We even asked our waitress for help to redeem it. She stated hardly no one does it because it’s a multi-step process. I WISH THINGS WERE MORE STRAIGHT FORWARD.
The food was just okay. We were very hunger and I suggested burgers. The atmosphere: this restaurant was empty when we came in. As we dined a couple people came to sit at the bar. Thank God they have tvs on the wall or it would have really felt dead in there. The Food: I expected my burger to be juicier. My partner also reported his burger was just okay. If I worked innthe area, at the hospital maybe, I could see myself eating there. But for us, we probably won’t come back.

The Service Wasn’t Good Today. The Waiter Acted As Though She Had An Attitude. She Took A Long Time To Take Our Orders And To Even Be Seated. We Waited Over 45mins For Burgers And Fries.When We Received Our Food It Wasn’t Right! No Condiments Was On The Burgers. No Egg As Ordered On The Burger. To Go Cups Were Brought Without Lids And We Had To Ask For Straws. The Waitress Had An Attitude About Everything. Then They Had The Audacity To Allow A Non-Service Dog In The Restaurant. When I Spoke Out About It I Was Harassed On Social Media By Employees. The Statonsburg Rd. Angus Grill Was A Disservice To All The Other Fine Establishments That Have Experienced.

Absolute HORRIBLE SERVICE 11/23/25 placed an online order at 3:45. When my wife arrived “@4:15” to pick up the manager let her know he “closed the building “ and the systems were down. No problem just need a refund for the meal that I paid for. He then tells my wife she’ll have to come back tomorrow. Why would I have to return the next day to get a refund because you decided to close the store early when you’re hours clearly say 9PM! Will not be returning.

Came to eat here for the first time today. Not a bad place, has a very mature environment. Television everywhere and has a decent size bar. Wasn’t to packed inside and meals didn’t take long to come out after I placed order. Burgers are great too, nice portions overall definitely coming back for more.

This Restaurant is directly across from Vidant Medical Center. It’s in a good location with several other restaurant options. However, they dont act like there’s competition in the area. The waitress/ bartender was far from pleasant. I went in to order food after a long day with my friend in the hospital. I was tired but I still walked in with a smile. I found myself greeting the waitress before she greeted me. Granted, she might’ve had a rough and long day too but she didnt act that way towards anyone else. She walked away before I completed my order then rolled her eyes After I told her I wasn’t done. On top of that terrible service, The Carolina burger was incorrect (as far as toppings) and the Steak salad was not as expected. It was like philly steak meat/ steakums. The description stated: Salad mix, GRILLED RIB-EYE STEAK, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, bacon, shredded cheese but the steak was cut up into pieces as small as the bacon bits. Thats not what I want when I see GRILLED RIB-EYE. It was just overall dissatisfying. Would not recommend.

I was visiting from out of town and was looking for a good burger. Found it. There was lots of flavor in one sandwich. The sides were good also. I’d definitely come here again.
