We were just passing through, looking for a place to grab some food and a cocktail. It’s pretty clear that all the staff act like family. Our server was attentive, but caught the vibe that we were just trying to chill on a break from the road. She checked in exactly the right amount of times. Highly recommend.

Made a large take out order and couldn’t be happier that they got it 100! Omg food was so so good. I ordered the Blackened Salmon minus veggies with the jerk season rice and salad of Ceasar. Had a side order of Wagon Wheels, which are deep fried sliced jalapeños and pickles. My sweet treat was Funnel Cake Fries, and that put me in a food coma especially with chocolate sauce! So good and kinda pricey, but you get a lot and damn good food!

Wow what a great experience!!! 1st visit and so glad we found this hidden gem! The food was excellent! We all got sliders but the menu has something for everyone!!! The choices are unlimited?

I ordered the ribeye (medium rare) with sweet potato fries and a Cesar salad. The steak was over cooked (well done) and had to send it back. I cut into the second steak and it appeared to be cooked right, however, after letting it rest for a bit, it had continued to cook further and ended up being closer to medium well. The seasoning was great! There was no need for steak sauce at all! The sweet potato fries were a bit different than I’ve had previously, however, they were delicious!
The atmosphere was to be expected with the name “Sharky’s”.
Parking could potentially be an issue. There’s a large parking lot across the street, however, with another restaurant on that side of the street, it could potentially become a problem. Also, not very wheelchair friendly as there is a small 1″-2″ step inside the door.

We stumbled upon Sharky’s while visiting Iola to check out the Lehigh Portland Trails and Garnett Lake Grand Prix revival. It’s a great sports bar with large TVs and a huge menu. Luckily, we stopped in during their peel and eat shrimp special, which was not only delicious but very reasonably priced! My husband had the fish tacos, which were packed with fish! Sharky’s also has a good draft beer selection. Definitely a must stop if you’re near Iola looking for a good meal!

Cheeseburger in paradise was 5/10. Interesting combo. French fries were soggy. Great service, though.
