The food is good. Service a little slow. No good diet sodas. The parking lot is in need of some major repairs. It would be nice if the guest would clean after themselves and the owners would sanitize the waiting area more so it would smell fresh. The food is good. Get it to go.

Rather I call ahead or not this place is cooking and busy. I enjoy the catfish dinner. Less fries and fresh coleslaw please. Yet that catfish is the most. 3 large fillets. Please bring back the take out menus so I can see the whole menu and maybe order something new. Thanks.

With fried food either goes two ways, it’s GOOD or it’s BAD . I’m not crazy about everybody’s fried food but I decided to give it a shot while on vacation in Milwaukee. The establishment was very clean and didn’t have any weird odors so that was a good sign. Our cashier was very friendly even though we were so indecisive. We had to wait a good while but our orders were freshly made not some lukewarm food that’s been sitting under a heat lamp. Mine smelled so good it was coming through the bag and I had no choice but to entertain it while waiting on my son’s order. The batter they use is A1. I think I tasted cinnamon jk. It was very crispy and not too greasy. Not overly salty either. I need to invest in to getting one in Atlanta. Their wings were also a very good size. Not how some places give you baby wings.

Very poor customer services…… I ordered 4pc Cat fish fillet, 3pc cat fish fillets, gyro combo. It all came out to $56.74. I get all the way home and their was hair in my food. When I went back so they can correct it. The manger Dave/Steve were very rude. Like it was my fault. Will never order from that place ever again.

I go to the one on 76th Street. The only issue I ever had was their cooking oil was past its prime one time. That’s out of dozens of visits. I get the gizzard dinner. I love them. Always heaping helpings. Almost as good as my grandmas. Almost. It is what it is. Carry out soul/comfort food at a fair price.

Never had an issue until today. I called ahead, they answer and don’t say anything. I say “hello” he like “yea what you wanna order.” That should been my que to not go through with the order but i never had a problem here today. I order he tells me 10 minutes, cool. I get there in 8 minutes and give my ticket number. He tells me the price and it went up close to $10 from the old price. I asked him “it’s not $21.11 anymore he says “no” and says something in another language to the dude in the back in which they both laugh. The dude looks over at the other side of the counter and there is a order that is the same as what i ordered. He goes to grab it and the dude cooking the food says something and points to a fresh batch of the food he just finished . The 1st guy shrugs his shoulders and bagged up the one that was already sitting on the counter. I ask him what’s wrong with that and i would prefer a fresh batch vs one that has been sitting in the counter. He tells me it’s the same thing and then yells the order that just came up is for another order. I told him to pass me the rest of my stuff so i could go because i didn’t feel like cursing overly rude, lack of proper customer service self out. I really hate rude customer service and it irritates me when i encounter it.
