Delicious food, decent prices and service – strange, takeout-only kinda atmosphere (but I guess the outdoor seating might be nice in the warmer months – although it’s right by a road people drive fast on).
I placed an online order and it immediately changed saying the salmon was out of stock, and then cancelled the whole order. So if you order remote I would call it in, instead, or just go in-store and order and wait. They have a couple of cushioned faux leather chairs to sit in the main area.
The food is well worth any complications in ordering / service. Delicious combination of flavors.
The sides are also criminally small but delicious.
We ordered a bunch of the platters for an event at our house – and fed ~10 people with 6 platters and some sides, still having leftovers. So it’s great for events with sharing food.
I also went to a BUILD organizing meeting in Franklin Square that had Shareef’s wraps at it – and that was awesome. Excellent catering choice for larger events like that.

OK first off I’ve seen a homeless man couldn’t afford his meal and they gave it to him for free and honestly if that isn’t service and looking enough for that community I don’t know what is second, there’s steak and shrimp platter is so so good. I don’t know what sauce they put on it, but it is so delicious will have your taste buds explode. 10 out of 10 for real these people are very sweet and have a great heart.

When I got in the restaurant, I was surprised by the great smell. I was going for the Halal Lamb because I heard a lot about it. I got the lamb platter and the shrimp salmon wrap… I finished the wrap too fast, I forgot to take a decent picture for Map , The lamb platter was delicious too. Meat was tender, flavorful and the sauce is great.
The cashier was welcoming and friendly. He took my order quickly and provided some guidance. The food was ready in about 15 min. People started coming in and getting food. Glad I went though the door even if it felt closed from afar. The food was insanely good. Just the Halal lamb I heard about and was craving. Thank you.

I specifically asked for a Garlic Jumbo Lump Wrap. It’s so much sauce all over this food I can’t even taste anything. The crabmeat is way off, you can tell it is from a different country. The shrimp used are already cooked, which makes them rubbery with the tail on every single shrimp except one. The Single Rotisserie Wing was dry and Way too spicy. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. This is the 3rd time I’ve wasted my money within a month

I would have given 5 stars but I did not get to try what I wanted which were the rotisserie wings. My co-worker got them a week ago and said although they were baked, they were crispy like they were fried.
What I did order I enjoyed immensely. I ended up getting the fried chicken wings with seasoned fries and broccoli.
The chicken wings were huge and fried perfectly. The crispy yet flaky outer shell was amazing. The flavor of the wings were very good as well. I only wish I had arrived 45 minutes later and been able to try the rotisserie wings because they looked like heaven spinning in the oven.
The seasoned fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and were not overly seasoned. they hit the spot.
The broccoli was sliced thin and sauteed in butter and garlic sauce and man oh man I could have had a double helping of broccoli and been somewhat keto friendly LOL.
This Halal spot did not disappoint and is all everyone says they are. I can’t wait to go back and get those rotisserie wings! A steady stream of folks coming in to grab their lunch order and after enjoying my meal I totally understand why.
I get those wings and they are how my co-worker described I will be changing my rating to a 5 star.

First time…got the steak platter. Notice a “special sauce” that looked milk/cream based. Called the store no answer got voicemail.

Unfortunately I am changing my review from before. Though the food, mixed drinks, and desserts are great, the service the last time I was here was terrible. I tried to take it up with management, but they didn’t respond to my calls or texts. I always order the same thing, a Chicken platter with extra sauce. I didn’t say extra sauce on the side. And when I order, they usually put a little extra sauce on top of the platter for no extra charge. The last time I called in my order, I did the same thing and the guy gave me a total for a Chicken platter. When I get there, he tells me he’s charging me $3.00 more for the extra sauce. I let it go and paid it. But after I paid for it, the guy I have never seen before says he’s going to go get my extra sauce on the side. That’s not what I ordered, nor what I wanted. How can you charge extra for something I didn’t ask for and be rude about it?? There was no thank you, no nothing. I worked in the food/restaurant business a long time, so customer service is important. You as the cashier, server and host are the face of the restaurant. The food may be great, but bad service will turn a customer away. So no, I will not go back here for a while.

Food is always good when I come here I’m giving 4 out of 5 on the food part because the Mac and cheese is bland cheesy the way it should be just bland and the yams was too sweet and rushed as if they didn’t boil enough when being cooked so I couldn’t enjoy them
