Shannon’s is just a great place to meet friends for lunch. They have a nice menu and the dining room is quiet. My husband ordered one of the daily specials – the Beef Brisket sandwich but switched out the French fries for onion rings. He was really pleased with the onion rings not so much with the brisket – he would have liked it sliced thinner. I ordered the nachos which was huge and surprising. It came out with a lot of shredded lettuce on top – not at all what I was expecting. It looked more like a taco salad than a nachos platter.
Our friends had the Beef Brisket sandwich and the Maryland Crab Soup. She said the Crab Soup was the best. For deserts, they had the two lemon meringue pies which were piled high with meringue and delicious. My husband had the rice pudding which was served in a large bowl warmed with caramel sauce and toasted pecan. This was totally scrumptious.

It’s rare that you get hot french fries in a restaurant, but not here at Shannon’s…. Piping HOT fries. One of the best bleu cheese dressing I’ve had in a very long time. The wings were perfect. The bartender was fantastic. We will definitely visit again when in town.

Delicious and friendly service! If you’re looking for an Irish pub feel, this is the place for you. I had a burger and fries paired with an IPA that hit the spot. Medium rare was on point. Happy hour starts at noon, so lunch was an excellent deal. Recommend highly for when the mood strikes

Haven’t been here in so many years. Food was still good and service was quick and friendly. The crab dip was really tasty. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals: Tenderloin Sandwich, Shannon’s Burger with fries (though we did have to ask for some fixings as it came plain), and the rockfish. For dessert, we all shared the lemon merengue and Bailey’s bread pudding. Both were delecious and serving size for each was generous.

Food was great! Came during prime time Friday night. Had a way to few minutes to get a table, but it was not long. Decided on the pepper jack chicken sandwich. It was very good and very filling. Couldn’t finish it due to the size. The restaurant was very clean, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Love that they had a kids menu, and were able to switch a few things for dietary needs. Overall, I would really recommend this restaurant if you were in the area and looking for a sit-down restaurant.
