This was a solid fried chicken spot with super friendly staff and quick and fresh food. I had their 3 piece which came with biscuit and two sides.
The chicken was fresh juicy and Delicious. It had a great crispy skin on both varieties I had the original and the spicy. The original has a little bit lighter breading than normal fried chicken places but extremely tasty. The sides were equally as tasty. I would definitely go back and visit them again when I’m in the area.

I had a hankering for chicken liver, which I know is not a very popular cuisine options and that ultimately means not many places serve them. I knew that Lee’s Famous Recipe did and though I’ve had theirs before and they were just ok… I reluctantly thought I’d try again. Spoiler alert- they are still just ok. The batter that they use is extremely salty and they’re fried so you don’t need the extra salt. I bought a regular order of livers a regular order of gizzards and a dunker meal. The portion of a regular for $4.99 is very small. The texture was good but the taste is just so so for both and the light batter doesn’t lead one to believe that they are cooked well. The fingers looked under cooked as well. So all in all I did get what I ordered. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and my order was taken quickly and given to me quickly. The value for the price… it’s on the high side. The taste is nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is wonky. It’s an older bldg so they have seating but it’s in the back and odd to get to. I have to give it a 3/10 bc it was barely mediocre. I have however learned my lesson. The employees are nice and good is severed to you quickly but if the taste is just ok it’s not really worth it. Other menu items may be great but I won’t be going back. Best of luck if you go!

I absolutely love Lee’s Chicken but especially this location! The staff is wonderful and so kind. They always welcome me with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. The location is super clean, the food quality is excellent, and overall it’s a great value but an even better experience to visit this Lee’s location! I can’t say enough great things about! I give them an A++++! If you are ever in the area, it’s a must stop!!!

Ordered 8 piece all spicy all white. Got no spicy and 5 wings. 40 bucks…. That’s a lot to not get what you ordered. Chicken that we did get was extremely dry. It’s become an issue with my family as we order spicy, and it’s hit or miss. When we actually get what we order, it’s really good. . but that’s now becoming few and and far between. If you don’t have spicy, just say that.

20230910 First time trying Lee’s Famous Fried Chicken. The employee started taking my order and stopped to coordinate with her friend on when she’s leaving, etc… that was a little annoying. Should have waited between customers. The floor was a little slippery with my hiking boots. Not sure if it’s just dirty, greasy. The restaurant seems old, and I parked in the last parking space next to the huge Lee’s sign by the road, and it was dirty and smelly because there was where the dumpster is. To my surprise, I really like the lightly battered fried chicken. My dog likes the fried liver, which was softened by the time I got back to the hotel, about 7 miles. The mac and cheese was ok, reminds me of the box Mac and cheese. Mashed potato with gravy was good. I like the Bojangles’ sides better.

My food was old and my chicken dippers was hard as hell!! They refuse to drop ANYTHING fresh! Gave me 5 dippers and shorted my on two orders of wedges the cook’s customer service was horrible! NOBODY knew what time the chicken had been cooked or how long it had been in the warmer!!

Stopped by today to get a side of mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. Older lady, worker came out didn’t greet me. Another young lady came out, she did greet me, but with cellphone in hand and watching a IG reel.
Older lady, I noticed wasn’t working but behind the counter fixing her own meal to go and left. She was unkept, hair all over her head and just unprofessional looking, while the others in the back looked just as bad.
I was able to snap a photo of her. I drove off, stopped at another establishment and then my order away. What a waste.
I know it’s a fast food establishment, but damn, do better. Where do you all hire these people from?

Husband went to this location and waited twenty minutes on chicken, line was out the door. Folks there’s a reason for that. It was so good. Did not mind the wait at all. Everything tasted great. Mash potatoes Yummy. Dip your biscuit in your gravy.

This location was on Brownsboro Road and though rather difficult to get in and out of (parking), the staff and food were excellent. The girl at the front counter was extremely pleasant and appeared to really like her job, which is very unusual in today’s society.
