If you want free food, stop by Shanghai You Garden in Bayside for your choice Peking Duck bun or an order of soup dumplings! Their menu consists of huge selections such as soup dumplings, roasted meats, dim sum, pastries, soups, stir fries, just to name a few. Enjoy items made in house with the freshest and finest ingredients that you can taste. Service is superb and quick without being intrusive at all. Shanghai You Garden really stands out in quality and service with a beautiful atmosphere that’s perfect for gatherings or a quick meal. Come check them out.

Photos attached for reference. The noodles themselves were acceptable, but they were not served hot enough and lacked the freshness and warmth you would expect.
The hygiene was concerning – the glass table felt greasy, giving the impression it was not properly cleaned. Several dishes were overly oily and did not appear very fresh, and some vegetables looked wilted.
Overall, the presentation and cleanliness affected the dining experience, and I would not return.

Comfortable and relaxed Chinese dining area. The soup and the watercress dumplings were great. The rice noodles and meat buns were fairly standard. The soup dumplings were on the cooler side, so were less than ideal. The closing soup was a bit on the sweet side

I submitted a Peking Duck. She told me to sit comfortably in the desired seat so that I could wait comfortably while waiting for Peking Duck. I ate it seven hours later, but the juice was still alive and not cold at all. They also brought a lot of green onion, cucumber bread, and black sauce, so it wasn’t lacking at all. It was so delicious that I couldn’t take a picture because I was in a hurry to eat it. I’ll replace it with a menu photo ‍♀️ I recommend it !!!

The “Shuanghuang noodles” were quite disappointing — this is not how they are usually made in Shanghai. The cold fish also didn’t taste good and I wouldn’t recommend ordering it. On the bright side, the service staff were very polite and attentive. But as for the kitchen, I really hope the chefs can refine their cooking skills a bit more.

This a great spot for xiaolongbao and Peking duck! There’s nothing quite like having a Chinese feast. Pick whatever you think looks nice from the menu and it’ll be on your table in minutes. A beautiful and delicious spread. Take whatever you can’t finish home! They’ll give out free dishes as well for dine-in customers. There is another location in flushing if you don’t mind waiting longer.

A good friend invited us for lunch. Had SLB,1/2 peking duck, scallion pancakes & a panfried shanghai noodle dish.
SLB could’ve been more juicy, skin was on thick side. Duck skin could’ve been more crisper. Pancakes & noodles were good.
Menu has many different & interesting dishes to try next time.

I’ve been here 3 times. Once with co-workers, a friend and then family. Each time was a different experience – all positive. I may have even reviewed this sometime ago. My first time coming here I came with co-workers and it being my first time they recommended certain dishes which I really loved. Soup dumplings, and rice noodles. My second visit was with a good friend of mine and we chose completely different dishes like the Peking Duck and spicy garlic ribs and a veggie fried rice. Phenomenal. My third visit I came with family. I pretty much repeated the same meal that I had with my friend but we also ate the sesame chicken, duck buns, more soup dumplings and spicy noodles. This restaurant does not disappoint. Soup dumplings are free if you order over a certain amount and it’s not even a high amount, the wait time is minimal and the food is just so good. My son is a huge fan. Will be coming here a 4th time for sure!

Great spot for weekend brunch

A variety of Asian dishes from soup dumplings to roast duck. The fabulous flavors will tantalize your taste buds.

Spend $15 for dine in and receive a complimentary soup dumpling dish. . We also received a complimentary dessert (not sure if this was from the owner or included). Outrageous

The decor is quite exquisite for the private rooms for large groups. The booths are also comfortable & elegant.

Prices are reasonable and service is prompt

Adding to my TOP 10 for Queens.
