We won’t go anywhere else for Chinese food. We always order takeout over the phone, but this place consistently produces bang-up food and a lot of it. I don’t know how the General Tso’s Chicken is, but the Tofu version is the best I’ve ever had. The Mapo Tofu and Egg Rolls are good too.

We always order from Shanghai Wok in Northfield. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! They always say “be there in about an hour” but our food is usually delivered within 30 minutes! Have been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed. Very satisfied customer! Thank you Shanghai Wok for being so consistently amazing when so many other businesses are not!

Food is top tier the crab rangoons could use a lot more filling though. The general TSO chicken platter was loved by my family. The service is quick and easy whether you’re placing the order or just picking it up. However the entire restaurant is like an ice box during the winter and an oven during the summer. It’s not climate controlled and I get I’m only in there to grab my food and leave but if I place the order there and then continue to sit there and wait when it’s 25 degrees outside and only 30 degrees inside I don’t want to be freezing. But besides the place not being climate controlled it’s overall not a bad place to try if you’re in the area.

Very Rude , I was yelled at by the staff because I requested my food be made fresh and he told me don’t you ever ask me that our food is always fresh so don’t you say that to me again you don’t know what your talking about I apologized and explained I always say that when I order. I say that when I order because I’ve had experiences where I order on the phone from restaurants and my food isn’t hot when I go in and pick up my food and I’m the type of person to show up 10 minutes early and sit in the parking lot till my food is done. Plus , Last year the last time I ordered from this place my food was congealed, and my chicken was cold, and my rice was extremely hard
