Many folks don’t realize nor appreciate it when they see it. These shrimp are served without the shell and are deveined. The broccoli is blanched, so it has a smoothe and slightly crunchy texture for a plant. The plain white rice works for me, but you can get fried rice. This was the $6.50 lunch special and it comes with the soup of choice: egg drop, wonton or sweet and sour. It’s a good deal for a low price and the amount of food that you get. Today, I picked up two specials including General Tso chicken and it came with my favourite wonton soup. Very tasty.

Ordered the general Tso dinner combo on Friday the 13th. The order wait time was 15 minutes so I thought our food would be fresh and hot. It was not! The noodles were old and stuck together and dried out. The meat was hard chunks and tough to chew. The temperature was lukewarm. The eggroll was ok. We won’t be going here again, it was really bad.

This is a great little place, and they are usually quick with orders. My favorite item is the wonton soup! Some of the chicken dishes I’ve gotten taste good but have way too much sauce.

There is no indoor seating, and beware if you’re going in the winter, it can be really chilly in there if you are waiting inside. The parking lot is small but I’ve always found space.

My Orange Chicken was prepared quickly. However, it was the worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had. Inedible. You’ve been warned:)

Best Chinese takeout this side of town! Prices are very reasonable, food is fresh, tasty and portion sizes are plentiful! My favorite is the Beef Lo mein and Chicken and Broccoli.
Only had issues one time, which was no fault of their own(Doordash issue, but it was solved). You can’t go wrong with this spot!

I got the beef lo mein lunch special. Lo Mein was great. Portionll was good. Meat was seasoned well. The fried rice I got with was not so good. I can’t tell you what was wrong, just that it didn’t taste good. The egg roll was ok…but smaller than what I’m used to seeing. All in all a great lunch for $6.50. Next time I’ll try the white rice…

Very good customer service! I ordered delivery and they were quick! The delivery man was very nice. I thought the price did not match the food quality. It was a little too bland overall—I got
the veggie egg roll and chicken+broccoli. A little soy sauce fixed the egg roll, but the chicken has a weird dry texture. The broccoli was steamed well, I will say that. Like I said, food quality I felt was fairly bland. Food means most to me at restaurants. Nice services, but below average food for an above average cost.

This is our go-to for solid local “Americanized” Chinese food. Everything is prepared quickly, with quality ingredients and cooked properly. Broccoli is blanched and reserves a slightly firm texture (not mushy) – as it should! Same with the carrots & peppers. Shrimp is fresh and deveined in my experience. My daughter loves the roast pork fried rice, and we like a lot of the Szechuan & Hunan dishes. I appreciate the ability to order online, order steamed items, gluten-free items & preparations, and nothing is ever too oily (had a problem recently with another local place and won’t be back there). Definitely not a place for dine-in, but probably to be expected. For a no-fuss, easy and reliably yummy take-out experience, go with Shanghai Wok.

Food is top tier the crab rangoons could use a lot more filling though. The general TSO chicken platter was loved by my family. The service is quick and easy whether you’re placing the order or just picking it up. However the entire restaurant is like an ice box during the winter and an oven during the summer. It’s not climate controlled and I get I’m only in there to grab my food and leave but if I place the order there and then continue to sit there and wait when it’s 25 degrees outside and only 30 degrees inside I don’t want to be freezing. But besides the place not being climate controlled it’s overall not a bad place to try if you’re in the area.

I don’t post alot of reviews however, I started taking out here 2 years ago and go a few times a month. I get the same thing every time= mushroom egg foo young, wonton soup and sometimes an egg roll. I have found it to be one of the best places even better than some fine dining chinese restaurants for the egg foo young. It is delicious!
