The fish and shrimp tacos are simply the best we’ve ever had. No coincidence they are famous for them. I would agree with Anthony Bourdain when he had them here. Simply the best fish tacos in town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some delicious seafood.

Shanghai Noon — A Surprise Gem with Unforgettable Wings, Calamari & Chicken Alfredo

I didn’t expect to fall in love with Shanghai Noon, but wow — this place is a total gem! The food was incredible, the menu is super versatile, and as someone who doesn’t eat seafood, I was thrilled to find plenty of delicious options that catered to me.

That said… we did order the calamari, and let me tell you — it was some of the best and most unique I’ve ever had. No sauce needed, just amazing flavor and perfect texture all on its own. I usually don’t go wild for calamari, but this was next level.

The chicken Alfredo? Dreamy. Rich, creamy, loaded with artichoke hearts and all the right fixings. I’m still thinking about it. Pro tip: get the cheese bread and use it to soak up the Alfredo sauce — you won’t regret it.

And finally: the wings. I would honestly go back just for those. Crispy, flavorful, and hands down some of the best I’ve had in a very, very long time.

If you’re in Palm Springs and want a spot that surprises you in all the best ways, Shanghai Noon is an absolute must-try. I’ll definitely be back — and I already know what I’m ordering.

Just a small note — service was a bit on the slow side, especially when we were ready to close out. Our check sat for about 10 minutes before we flagged someone down, but once we did, they were super helpful and got us taken care of quickly. It wasn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but something to be aware of if you’re in a hurry. Still, the food made it well worth the wait!

I was meeting up with friends, family here & this was an excellent spot! A great vibe as you step in and an awesome spot for an adult beverage.

This place had excellent customer service and a nice out door atmosphere for a restaurant. The food was delicious overall. We had the calamari, the chowder, shrimp skewers and fish/chips. All were excellent and solid quality. The beer washing all these foods down made it all phenomenal. I highly recommend the fish & chips with lots of tartar sauce.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.

I wandered into this place and it was amazing. Didn’t eat, but enjoyed a strong drink at the bar and watched the football game and chefs. The latter was much more fun. Great band on the patio. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

This is a favorite destination in Palm Springs for dining. The lobster bisque and shrimp dishes are a reason to come here. Location is a little off the main drag, this is a very popular dining venue with locals. It’s a wonderful date night option in Palm Springs.

Great Happy Hour. There’s a parking lot, but only 10 spots are reserved for the restaurant. Parking on Thursday night is a bit tricky as Palm Canyon Drive is closed for VillageFest. Fish & Chips were excellent. World-famous fish tacos were ok; fish was overcooked and a bit dry. But they give you a lot of fish in the tacos. 2 tacos make a complete meal; they are not street-taco style, just regular taco style.

There is a worker there who I believe is a manager named Stefan? who is always so attentive and professional. Three of us often go there and sit at the bar counter. From the counter we see the food preparers up close, as they work really hard and efficiently getting the orders ready. The food is good and reasonably priced. There are always some specials going on. It’s one of my favorite places in Palm Springs.

WOW! The band is a 10/10! Very very great live music. Their chemistry is top notch and I would come here just to listen to them.

The food is also delicious. Had some tacos and they didn’t disappoint!
