I called for my order and I waited for it for over an hour it came not hot, and then the delivery driver asked for a tip. I would have been more than happy to give somebody a tip if my food came hot and I ordered french fries so of course you want to eat it hot but I did not receive my order hot and then when I called about their delivery driver, asking for a tip and refusing to give me my food she backed her delivery driver up and condoned her actions. I do not recommend this!

I just ordered from this place. THEY messed up our order then guy came back took the other back. Now once food is in your home in age of Covid it rightfully should be OURS! Anyways, bc the other people who got back the other order were missing the won tons bc it was an accident!! They called and made my mother PAY FOR the missing item that was given to us by mistake! Like you guys messed up NO WE DONT NEED TO PAY!!

When getting Chinese food in Somers Point I usually go to Ocean Garden. I like the nice airy atmosphere and green colors in the restaurant .. and the cheerful and pleasant people who own it.. It always has a nice feel. This time I went to the Shanghai House as a change of pace. I can tell you I am never going back there again. Entering the icy cold environs of this restaurant and dealing with the owners made think of all the dumpy greasy spoon Chinese restaurants I visited in North Philly. What a drab cold and lifeless place it is. The woman behind the counter was not friendly and the toilet in the bathroom didn’t flush and there were no paper towels. This place has serious issues. The food was overpriced and salty.. They demand a $20 minimum purchase for using a bank card and the food isnt good either.. It was overpriced and salty.. The Shrimp Lo Mein had sparce shrimp and vegetables in it. When they gave me my bag of food they didn’t even provide napkins! Cheese n crackers! They don’t care! I am happy to know there are better options to eat Chinese food in Somers Point.

Ordered from here twice, Good food, good prices. I know this is going to gross some people out but the first time I ordered from here, I found 2 hairs in my food. I saw several other reviews talking about hair in there food, if they started using hairnets, I think it would of prevent several of the 1 star reviews and I know I’d be raising my review to 4 or 5 stars if it wasnt for that experience.

Within 4 hours of eating the kung po chicken my boyfriend started to get sick. For HOURS. He’s still sick to the point where I came to write this review at 4:10 in the morning and I never write reviews but this experience was worth leaving a review about to WARN OTHERS TO STAY AWAY. I came here to see other reviews (seeing if others have been sick like this) and I see it’s a trend here. So far only 1 out of 6 of us are sick but I definitely will not ever be going back. We noticed nothing wrong with the food while eating, but it’s now apparent the chicken they used for his dish was either undercooked or just bad. Don’t take the risk. How they have any good reviews is beyond me. Look closer and you’ll see pictures of hair in the food, complaints of bugs in the restaurant, AND multiple people getting sick due to under cooked chicken. Not to mention the numerous bad reviews about the lack of customer service.

I was working in area, our customer ordered us lunch from this restaurant, the food was one of the best take out food I’ve had in a very long time. Shrimp fried rice was amazing Teriyaki sticks just as great everything that we had was delicious , oh and the wings were amazing.

Nothing in my dinner platter was fresh. The rice seemed to be leftover from the day before, the meat was very dry/overcooked and the eggroll was the same. Customer service was very unfriendly.

This worst place to order from. Not because their food is good customers have to tolerate a nasty and rude lady taking orders!! Food arrives incomplete at times with wrong ingredients, but the worst part is that this lady which I don’t her name is rude and hung up the phone twice. So unprofessional and to be holding business like that, I can freely say do not eat or order from here! Terrible

We order regularly and we have never been disappointed! They food is hot, the chicken is always crispy and the people are all very nice. Not to mention how fast it gets here! Super super good!
