The crab Rangoon are a 10. Fried Dumplings and the sauce were a 10. Egg drop soup was good. The chicken was tasteless and tough. It looked like it was going to be awesome, but lacked flavor. I would go back to try the hot sour soup and something different on the menu. The lady at the register was polite and the food came out quick.

Went for lunch with a friend on a weekday. It was busy but not crowded. We ordered at the counter. The menu has many items. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch plate and half an order of crab rangoon. The plate came with one spring roll, a crab rangoon, egg drop soup, and fried rice. The soup was a little too salty. I added crispy wonton skins (for an extra $1). It helped. The spring roll was a regular veg spring without any flavor, but it was crispy. The crab rangoon was salty and oniony. There wasn’t enough filling for the amount of fried wrapper, so it was tough to chew. The fried rice was ok. The sesame chicken was large nuggets of white meat. It was good. The sauce wasn’t too sweet. May return to try other menu items.

I love the spicy combo fried rice it’s the best I have ever had. Im also a huge fan of the orange chicken. The meal size is good and you get a soup and side but know that the soup changes from egg drop to sweet and sour every day. Place is clean, food is good, staff is really nice.

Visited a few months back and noticed that some of their most popular dishes tasted different. Came back today and was told that they had new owners. They have totally changed the flavors that everyone has known and loved…..and not in a good way. They had the best Empress chicken and crab Rangoon‘s hands down and now it’s just not good… super disappointing…

Well never eat there again!!! There was a dead cockroach in our food!! I swear I haven’t puke so much!! I can’t even my stomach is in knots!!! Disgusting!! Also when we was ordering the food I was asking questions and she kinda snapped at me and was like ” Its on the board so you don’t have to ask me anything! Fast service and delicious food at a great price. We’ve done carry out a few times now and the food is always hot and tasty. The meals come with fried rice and two crab rangoons. They substituted an egg roll for the two crab rangoons on request this last time and I appreciated that. The servings are definitely worth the value, we can usually get dinner and lunch the next day out of them.

I picked up carryout from Shang Yuen yesterday and it was great. I called ahead and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes. (I would have tried the website ordering but it requires a login to order which is reasonable, I just didn’t have time.) When I got there the counter service was excellent and the lady who helped me was happy to help me.
I got Hot Braised Chicken (5 stars spicy) and it was perfect. The meat quality was good and not stringy. My food was still (temperature) hot when I sat down to eat. It had a ton of the entree and even came with 2 crab rangoons. I also got an order of crab rangoons and they were great too. I shared the crab rangoons with coworkers and they enjoyed them as well.
I look forward to going back!

Ordered at counter for carry out. She seemed overwhelmed . Two people waiting fir orders one picking up and myself. First noticed new owners maybe? Prices have gone up maybe $2. Plus! Got food quickly. Food had little flavor. Egg rolls were plain with no flavor as well. I liked that there were veggies , cabbage, onions in lo mein but no flavor to them.
Will think before spending $12 for lunch with little taste to it. Do NOT like even before had any service ir food when I paid first thing it asked was for the tip amount! I tip on service and food . She only took my order so far so no tip to base anything on. If you want a deserving tip then you must provide service and then good food first

First time trying this place, Absolutely delicious!
We ordered Sweet & Sour chicken-great flavor and breaded to perfection, peppers, onions and carrots perfectly cooked.
Also ordered combination lo mein- wonderful flavor, alot of shrimp, chicken and beef.
Side order of egg rolls- FABULOUS!!
Each meal came with crab rangoons- ours has specks of filling so was disappointed about that.
However, we will forsure be back. 5

Super clean Chinese fast food restaurant. Ordered the sweet and sour pork and it was hot and fresh! Crispy on the outside too! Fried rice didn’t disappoint either. Will be back soon
