We have eaten at Shane’s Rib Shack many times & have enjoyed the food. My favorite BBQ place is Sonny’s BBQ but they closed down the one in Oakwood. I loved Sonny’s sliced pork and their smoked thigh/leg quarters.
I mentioned this to Christine who recommended the 1/2 chicken that was smoked. It was delicious . After we started eating Christine checked back with us & I thanked her for her recommendation. She also recommended the peach cobbler which was delicious as well. It tasted like my Grandma’s.
Mason served us our food and the food came out in a timely manner. It was a joy to talk with him & Christine.

How is this place still open? The older lady walking around saying how tired she is, who wants to listen to that. Tables and seats dirty and sticky. The smoked wings were dried out, crispy? And flavorless. For what they charge I expected so much better.

I can recommend Shane’s Rib Shack at Flowery Branch, the food was simply delicious. Their yellow dipping sauce was tasty, and all we ordered was well presented and delicious, with the right seasoning and right temperature. They have a yummy Peach Sweat tea!! Must try! The place is nicely decorated, bathrooms are clean, also they have a Patio area with quite enough tables, to eat outside which is a plus for better chill weather. Will come back.

My wife and I ordered the Shack Sampler and the Two Meat Plate and both were fresh and delicious. The app was easy to navigate, and the food was hot and ready when we arrived to pick it up.

Had a great experience stopping here on my way through Georgia. Great food and friendly staff. Wings (not pictured) were huge and awesomely cooked and sauced. Everything was hot and tasted fresh! Definitely recommend!

Was told not to go here but figured we would try it since we’re new in town. Was super disappointed! The meat lacked barbecue smoke and was not something to write home about. Portions were VERY tiny, especially on the “chicken tenders” – which were inedible and disgusting. Very dry and hardly and meat at all. Will not be back, I’d rather get a McRib sandwich nearby.

Shameful! I visited here about 4 weeks ago and have raved about the Cowboy burger since. Even visit once a week. Came in today and first thing I see is 2 dogs over behind the closed off chairs with 2 employees and a friend. Ordered the Cowboy burger and fries for an extra $3.50 and this is what I get… So disappointed… Just killed my interest in coming back to any Shane’s restaurant. They use to look like the pic on the right not anymore… I guess it depends on who works.

Burgers are AMAZING!!! ordered a cheese burger with fries and potato salad we shared it because there was so much food. Has to be the best burger in the area. We will definitely be back to try the other burgers they offer
