I should have gone somewhere else. Every review I read mentioned poor service, so I wasn’t surprised when they didn’t even fix my order after I paid. I had to find one of the cooks and ask him to make my food and bring it out. I even showed him my receipt. Then when he brought out the food, it wasn’t what I had ordered (I substituted the standard side of french fries). There were at least three other groups at tables around me and every single one had a problem with their order. I then ordered a second menu item to go (completely separate order 30 minutes later), and they managed to screw that one up too!!! The food isn’t great but it tastes like standard BBQ (nothing special about it). The location is convenient for Ft Stewart however, don’t be surprised when the employees have a “don’t care attitude” and continually screw up your order.

Food was good but we waited an hour just to be told they forgot about us. So we waited some more, and the sanitation rating is a C which barely passing health standards to even have the doors open. The tables are disgusting from which I discovered due to the stickiness and the fact I scraped dirty scum off the table with my fingernail. But nevermind my review, see for yourself! They don’t ever clean the damn place. My advice is to order out!

I have been here several times. The rave about the ribs are overrated!! There is nothing about Shane’s Rib Shack that is worth calling it so. I have heard other people speak highly of the Shane Franchise, however, this is the only Shane’s Rib Shack that I have ever been to and I have attempted to see what the all the rave is, but have yet to see it. Not sure if the franchise is aware, but this Shane’s need some work. I will say the Peach Tea is excellent as well as the regular sweet tea. The management and staff have work to do elsewhere though!!!

Only one star because they are closed now. The food was always very delicious and perfectly cooked. The cleanliness inside the restaurant left something to be desired, but as long as you stuck to the drive-thru window and ate at work or home, you would be okay. Sorry to see them close, it’s a Pity to lose the best ribs & BBQ in Hinesville. I’m jus sayin…

Backed beans taste like they cam straight from a can no seasoning. Same with the green beans. Smoked chicken is a whole new ball game. When you think smoked BBQ chicken ; you would think at one point your food will be placed somwhere neat some typ of smoke other than a cigaret. The chicken tasted as if it was cook in hot water 0 smoked taste. Finally the BBQ sauce: the sauce was so watered down/vinegar that it couldn’t even stay on my food. I would not call this place a BBQ place but it did get the name correctly with shack.

These people have HORRIBLE customer service! I drove from RICHMOND HILL after placing a LARGE order for wings. When I got there they told me that they only had 3 wings and were unapologetic blaming everything on the 1st shift!! I will NEVER waste my time with them again!!!

1st time had the chicken salad sandwich l know it’s a BBQ joint what was l thinking, but that’s what l wanted the first bite l could taste the roasted or smoked flavor but then it became sort of bland, just a bit of salt could of enhanced the flavor, the toast which was Texas toast was not prepared fresh and it was very flattened in the middle of the bread l asked for onions and only got 2 rings not full just singular,l did have the okra wench was fried fresh with a hint of salt that was very good however for the price l don’t feel was worth it, but they were tasty

I love Shane’s rib shack. This is hands downs my favorite barbecue restaurant! If you are in this part of Georgia, visiting Shane’s rib shack is a must! I obviously got the Ribs, which is what they are known for here. I will tell everybody who is visiting this part of Georgia to go and visit Shane’s Rib Shack!
