WE NEED ONE IN NATCHITOCHES, LA!! The BBQ chicken and ribs were delicious and FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER!! The side salad was fresh. Sadly, the Texas toast was barely toasted. ♀️ The ordering process was easy and a young lady checked in with us several times to ask if we needed anything. The atmosphere was casual with plenty of natural lighting from the windows.

This place used to be excellent, but lately is a nightmare if you order online for pickup, this is the second time that they mess/ missed the order. I order a all American burger, I received a bun with a patty and that’s it, also ordered barbecue smoked wings, I received fried wings with no sauce. This is the second time they messed the order, the first time I ordered fries and they only gave me a plate full of fries. I doubt there is going to be a third time.

I don’t do alot of reviews but had to today. I frequently order online for delivery and sad to say, most of the time the food is cold, dry, just not great. I order for convenience really. I was REALLY craving bbq so I ordered from Shane’s Rib Shack. I didn’t even want to finish my meal before coming to leave a review, it is that good! Still very hot, even though I’m 12 miles away! I got the bbq pork plate with two sides. The pork is unbelievably tender and juicy, mac and cheese and baked beans still steaming hot and delicious. And I still have the peach cobbler for dessert! I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. The price for the amount of food I got?!?! I’m just shocked ! I’m honestly amazed at the entire experience. Kudos Shane’s Rib Shack!! I’ll definitely be ordering again!!

Clean & quiet. Order at the counter and take a seat. Food delivered to your table. Polite & friendly staff. I had the “Cowboy” burger and it was delicious. Not your typical machine cooked burger, this was fresh hot grilled to order. Yum! Lots of bbq options available. Get their app and order ahead to get reward points and reduce wait times or just get it to go! Will be back again to explore more menu items! I got their full rack baby back ribs plate to go. It came with your choice of 2 medium sides. I got the baked beans & crispy fries. The ribs were pull apart tender & meaty! Beans were hot and fries crispy as ordered. A very good meal. Staff was couteous and efficient. Their combo plates look good too. Put Shane’s on your “to do” list in Gainesville.

Disappointed for the 2nd time, I had peach cobbler on the taste buds and wasn’t going to be happy until I got some. I placed a take out order of 2 dinner plates and a large peach cobbler stopped and got vanilla ice cream on the way home and was looking forward to digging in. The bbq tasted like it had been baked in the oven no flavor what so ever after a few bites wasn’t even in the mood to eat anymore but you can say my dogs had a big dinner then I open the peach cobbler only for it to be burnt no brown but burnt beyond disappointing. I couldn’t even bring myself to call and complain because the last time I ordered a bbq salad and returned to work and opened the box and it was just a salad no BBQ. i ordered a family meal and it came with 2 “sides.” it was a little small cup of macaroni and a little small cup of brunswick stew. in no way was that a family size side. it wasn’t enough to do 2 spoonfuls for 2 people. ridiculous for all the money i paid.

I have never waited so long for food anywhere. You would think that Shane’s would be semi fast at getting food out. The restaurant was not very busy at all. My husband and I waited 50 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we still had not gotten our food. All we ordered were 2 Big Dad combos. Should not be that hard to make. Joanna stood behind the counter and glowered at us and the rest of the dining area the entire time. She was also on her cell phone the majority of the time. We finally just asked for our money back and left. We will never come to the Gainesville location again.
