Incredible wonderful experience! The food was very delicious. Even wonderful for kids, and my kids are picky. Portions are big for the price. Service was also wonderful. I would definitely recommend visiting! And the peach cobbler was amazing!!!

Near Tangiers outlet. Food and service were really good. We both had the Big Daddy pork sandwich, and it was huge, and used the spicy BBQ sauce, since the original was a little sweet. Mac and cheese was good, and the Cole slaw was really good, not too mayonnaise. $$ 5 stars

When I walked into Shane’s, I showed the person behind the counter (I wish I would have gotten her name. She was kind, friendly, and courteous) a picture that was posted on one of their reviews. The item was a shaniac sandwich and is no longer on the menu. She kindly told me it will take a few minutes but will gladly make it and have a seat. She brought the sandwich out in one hand, and in the other hand, she brought the recommended bbq sauce (mustard). The sandwich and service was AWESOME.

Great BBQ. Coleslaw was like the old time coleslaw. Ribs tender and very tasty. Pulled pork excellent. Baked beans had a very good flavor and the French fries rocked.

We stopped in Locust Grove for the evening on the way back to Ohio. We looked up, “bbq” and Shane’s was the highest rated. And for good reason! I had the pork melt sandwich (pulled pork, bacon, cheddar cheese) and green beans. It was INSANELY good! I couldn’t stop eating! We happened to go on Mother’s Day and they gave out free cobbler to Moms which was nice! Also, we went 30 minutes before close and they were still nonstop busy and on top of every order. We were very impressed!!

I placed my order online at 4:39pm for a 8:15pm pickup. I arrived at 8:16 pm. Once inside the restaurant, I was informed they were out of the pound of chicken, I said, “Switch it to the pork.” I was told it would be a few more minutes. To make a long story short, I didn’t end up leaving until 8:46pm.
I get home to see my okra and ribs were burnt, and this situation has left a bad taste in my mouth.
