Shana’s Wild Fig is my new favorite place to eat! Everything is Delicious! My favorite is the Italian Pork, and the Fruit and Cheese App “Wild Board” is amazing too. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. We love her new outside garden dining too, which feels like you’re eating in an English Garden as opposed to Blackwood, hahaha. Be sure to call ahead because spots fill up fast!

Have to say, nice ownership and nice employees, nice small town ambiance dining area, but the food isn’t the best, at least the Blackhorse Burger that is. Burger patty itself was not fresh tasting, dry, even though I ordered it ‘medium’ and it was served to me with a good amount of pink – looked great, didn’t taste good. Also, the bun left something to be desired, dry again maybe? Arugula was raw and dry. Nice slab of brie cheese though, I give points for that. It’s a nice little place, but first impressions are important and my first time will most likely be my last.

Ashame. We ate here before covid and it was great. They must have lost some staff who put love into their cooking.
The thing is, when you pay these menu prices, you expect a certain level of quality.
Ordered the ribs ,described as being smothered in BBQ sauce and the ribs were very dry both in the lack of sauce and meat being over dried.
Also ordered muscles. I get they are trying to be creative, but a ton of burnt garlic does not taste great after a while, especially when it’s in more than one dish. Ordered the grilled chicken parm with the same burnt garlic and dried chicken. Only thing we enjoyed were the waffle fries, they were amazing and the reason why I gave 2 stars. Not worth the $70 these 4 items cost. Definitely can’t justify $60 to take a chance on their steak.

My sister’s 70 birthday party was catered by Shana’s. This was more than a restaurant, IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE. We all love our food, this food was delicious and nothing I’ve eaten before. I can’t wait to order off the menu. Staff was great . Try it you’ll like it!

I don’t often gush over a new restaurant, but tonight, I’ll take exception and wholeheartedly recommend Shana’s Wild Fig in humble Blackwood, NJ. Lovely and spacious restaurant with a sophisticated menu at reasonable prices. From the clean and eclectic decor to the live music from a double bass/piano duo and the utterly delicious food, this was one of the best dinners we’ve recently had. The charcuterie board would have been enough but I am glad We went further and got the Gorgonzola Steak, a flatiron steak, which I ordered medium rare and was cooked perfectly – even red throughout and seared evenly all around. Presentation really showed that Shana cares about the details. Service was excellent as well as our server Gabby really knew the menu and how to guide us. It’s BYO, so even better on the wallet. We will be back, often, and so should you!

I ordered the Berry Salad and a side of fries. Everyone was super friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! The Berry Salads vinaigrette was tasty and the fries are seasoned so well. Everything tasted fresh and they also gave me a beautiful flower in my To Go bag. Great local restaurant that I will revisit again and again!

A delightful experience. At first, with the small menu, I did not think things would go well. I was wrong. Each dish was prepared with a gourmet eye, everything tasted good and the presentation was excellent. And service? Well, I will return to Shana’s. Thanks for this dining adventure.

What an awesome restaurant! Every dish is a work of art! Try the nachos appetizer with chorizo. An explosion of flavors. The grilled chicken parm was the best I ever tasted! You can cut the Kobe steak with a fork! Our waitress, Gabby, was delightful! You will not be disappointed! Shana has done an amazing job!
